I thought its gonna be way better than that The food taste average to good. The soups was very nice, appetizer could be way... better the crab mushroom thing, taste just mushroom The main dishes was the main disappointment I ordered the roast rib beef, itlooks like nothing roasted just cooked the fat was still white and jelly texture. Excellent service that goes ABOVE and BEYOND. I have planned two unfortunate events at the Cafe Escadrille, funeral luncheons... after the service. Both times the staff was kind, sensitive, attentive and thoughtful of our needs during a time when we arefrazzled and overwhelmed. Today the staff members were EXCELLENT, we had Eileen who provided amazing service. I have a 3 yearold rambunctious son and she was kind and playful with him. She also saw that he obviously didn't want any of the adult food.The staff made him chicken fingers and fries in under 10 minutes. I am so grateful to the incredible administrative staff,servers and bartenders at the Cafe Escadrille. Especially Eileen! I HIGHLY recommend their catering, their high quality serviceat a reasonable price is phenomenal! Read more
Stopped by on our way home from Mass General… it was our first time there! Everything was superb! The Caesar salad was... amazing, best I’ve ever had! The scallops were cooked to perfection! The French onion soup was very flavorful! I could havemade my whole meal a small Caesar and French onion soup and been extremely satisfied. The ice cream puff for dessert farsurpassed their espresso cake which was incredible! Meticulous service and upscale atmosphere made a quick stop for lunch feelmore like an event to be relished! This has been my favorite restaurant in Burlington since the mid 90's when I first started going there. Both the food and... service is consistently outstanding! I went last Thursday with a friend and had the best sea scallops that was just out of thisworld! Also, a big thank you to the waitress, Patti who was so pleasant and attentive! I told her how I'm always promoting therestaurant at my job in hospitality because its the best and every guest at my hotel comes back thanking me for the awesomerecommendation. I wanted her to know how much we all appreciate them. She came back with a free dessert for us telling me thatshe asked the Manager if she could offer it to me for sending so many people their way! Came out this evening with the Wife for our 8th Anniversary. What a great escape from our crazy busy lives. Tip of the the Hat... to our Waiter Matt. From cocktails to sushi, by far the most helpful/knowledgeable waiter we have ever had. He educated me onthe very complex subject of Martinis. We can’t wait to be back. You will not be let down. Had a great experience with our wedding rehearsal dinner here. Communication was clear throughout and food was fresh and... delicious. Staff all went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. Bar staff was pleasant and engaging. Wouldrecommend for a function of around 50 people. Read more
