We had the most wonderful experience. Our server, Ana, was amazing. She made us feel welcome, recommended some of the best food... I've ever had, and made sure we got out in a timely manner considering we had a ghost tour in Salem to get to. It was veryclean. The food was exceptional, and she was extremely attentive. First time in a long time. Food was great and service was also. Seemed a little short staffed, but waiter was great quick and... did a great job. Again it was great food all of our dishes. Definitely recommend. We had the southwest chicken salad. Chickenwas cooked perfectly and greens were fresh. My daughter had the chicken picatta, again chicken cooked perfectly crispy andmoist. Pasta also great. My other daughter had the Chowder which was great. Finished things up with the peanut butter thing. Great finish to a great meal out. Read more
The meal was delicious They made u were your masks inside i think that was over board *****UPDATE RECENTLY SUNDAY I went here... a few days ago. It was 530 on Sunday and it was not a good experience by far. First it was so hot inside 2. My meal was NOT whatI ordered. They used to make the most amazing mustard crusted cln with almonds and I ordered it It was on menu but what theygave Me was two way over cooked fried ckn breasts 3. We sat forever 4. Our waiter has someone else drop the check off and henever came back to ask things were Not NOT ONE WAITRESS would make eye contact so I could ask for help. They were so rude. Help each other out. 5. Desert was another whole mess It was so bad we probably won't go back there. We were looking to addanother restaurant to our rotation and it missed. Read more
I've been to not your average Joe's a few times before. and they were all ehhhh. so I havnt been back in literally years. I came... here for a quick quiet lunch and I absolutely loved it. first time at this location. the food was amazing! I got the chickendumplings and the chicken piccata. two very simple dishes however the flavors were like nothing I had tried at any of theirother locations. Good food, good attention and the summer special was interesting!
Staff could of been more attentive as to come around a little more often to ask how the food was or if we needed any refills,... etc. But overall the food was good. Read more
The Mama June host/manager was incredibly rude from the first 3 seconds. If half the restaurant is empty, I shouldn't have to... wait for the second person in my party of two to be seated. I don't know where this rule comes from, but it's unnecessary at 2in the afternoon. So I had to bargain with her and promise that I would order immediately without waiting ten minutes for theother half of my party. Seriously? I can't sit at one of a dozen empty tables for my significant other to arrive? It was atable for two, not twelve. Secondly, she was blatantly rude to my server when I was doing was I was told- I ordered a pitcherof Sangria to share and was brought two glasses. She scolded her in plain sight, and embarrassed her. I felt awful. Apparently,another of this restaurant's rules is that you can't leave two glasses for a pitcher of alcohol when the other person hasn'tarrived yet. Okay, which liquor license rule says this, and is this the best approach to handle this? So the server took oneaway and nicely explained she'd bring it back when my guest arrived. No big deal. As if that wasn't enough of an ordeal, MamaJune storms to the table with a terrible attitude and says she has to take the pitcher too. Apparently I can't have a pitcher bymyself either. What is wrong with this place? Okay, I didn't know my guest didn't want to drink, and I wouldn't have finished apitcher alone, but do you have to make a weird scene? I had enough of this woman and told her I so, and to please go away. Shereplied that she was the manager and not just the host (as if that makes this all better instead of worse) and made athreatening implication about MY behavior. This woman needs to worry less about her liquor license and more about customerservice and managerial skills. I wrote the server a nice note, and left a generous tip. Read more
