Counter service, they bring the food out to your table. Took longer than expected, think our drinks were sitting waiting for at... least 8 minutes before they were brought over. I am not gluten free but my friend is. We visited Twist in Burlington for the first time yesterday. My first impression was... that every food on display looked FABULOUS. When I asked the manager if really everything in the store was gluten free, heproudly replied "Every crumb in this building is gluten free". We had a hard time believing the taste could possibly be as goodas everything looked, so we decided to try a bunch of different options. I mean gluten free foods are never as good as thegluten-containing versions right? Well after we had tried the French toast, pancakes, quesadillas, breakfast sandwich, andcottage fries, we both were completely in love. The food was magnificent! Every single thing we tried was excellent. Myfriend is VERY gluten sensitive and has been eating gluten free for several years and never found a place remotely like this. We both loved the food, tried a lot of different dishes, and she never had a single gluten symptom afterward. But whether youare gluten free yourself or simply love good food like me, this place will not disappoint. We are both excited to return soon! Read more
I travel all over the country and try not to stop at the traditional commercialized places so i stopped off at the Twist Bakery.... They have many choices from breakfast items to burgers and salad and tasty treats. Fast and friendly service in a great area.Come check them out if your in the area. Read more

Bought a variety of baked goods and everything was super yummy. There was a good selection of items. My kids loved the cookie... dough cake pops. The chocolate funfetti cake and lemon square I got were amazing. The owner was very accommodating. As someonewith a gluten intolerance, it?s amazing to be able to go into a restaurant or bakery and be able to choose whatever you want toeat. Read more
Twist absolutely saved my life. As someone who struggles with multiple food allergies and therefore has very few restaurants... that they can attend, it is such a relief to find a place that caters specifically to gluten-free customers and clearly labelsall of their products that contain other allergens to prevent accidental reactions. The staff there (I regularly attend theBurlington location) are always courteous and kind, and several of them recognize me simply by hearing my name or seeing my face(even behind my mask!). The service is always quick and they have rarely gotten an order wrong - and the only instance on whichthey did was remediated with no problem. If you're looking for an allergen-friendly bakery/cafe with excellent service and awide, ever-changing menu of delicious desserts and drinks - this is the place for you. Read more
First timers at Twist, we used the take-out service. The food was fantastic! We ordered Chicken quesadilla, Parm panini, and... Grilled cheese -- all delicious! Followed by deserts, all nicely packaged for easy take-out: German chocolate cheesecake, Lemonbar, Chocolate cupcakes and a speckled cake pop-- all delicious! Great food and all GLUTEN FREE! Would not recommend this place, my kid did not finish his 2 pancakes and omelette, all he ate was his bacon. Both my kids did... not like their pancakes, he couldn?t finish after coming back home. Not fluffy feels like I am eating lump of dough, bwah Read more
