When I asked the lovely young woman (with the bomb eyelashes) who served us for the cinnamon roll with the most frosting she did... us one better by personally adding more frosting to the bun. Then she gave it to us on the house. 10/10 bun and 100000000/10service. Thank you so much! Read more
Love Cobs for many years. Staff are friendly, helpful, and focused on serving you promptly. Their speciality buns and scones are... great. Recently (last few weeks) their whole wheat bread does not seemed mixed (see photo for example). Third loaf in a row withthis issue. Total of 4 loafs. Hopefully quality will improve. Read more
Get a custard danish almost every Sunday. A few rare occasions they?ve been stale. I asked the counter girl last Sunday AM for... a fresh one and she went on to actually argue with me - in front of customers - that they are always fresh and that it wasimpossible I had a stale one, that I was lying. I 100% have had stale danishes there that I had to spit out. Like I mentioned,most of the time they are delicious, which is why I come back. Anyway, ?Customer is always right? is definitely not presenthere, especially from that young female employee, disgusting behaviour for a great brand. Read more
Nothing flashy, just good wholesome bakes goods. The setup actually reminds me of an old school bakery. Their lemon blueberry... and berry with white chocolate scones are excellent - soft, flavourful, not heavy on each bite. It's a chain but hey I'd welcomethem to my neighborhood if the stuff they bake is this good. Friendly polite service! Read more
Always Fresh! They open early so it's a great stop on my commute! They have many kinds of loafss/bun and sweet treats such as... scones, cinnamon buns, and tarts. A lil on the pricey side but it shows in the quality. Read more
Excellent bread bakery. They make great breads (all kinds) every day. Love the cheese/ spinach/ etc. pull apart rolls. They... also have some nice scones that are good with tea. Personally I find some of their sweet baked stuff a little too sweet for mytastes, but that is all personal preference, and their bread is always the trip focus anyway. :) Read more
I love Cobs. Always fresh, always friendly. Good ingredients and nice people who make really delicious baked goods. The... scones are wonderful, and perfect for coffee at work. I ask for extra icing (and they offer it on everything they sell) because life is short and I might as well die fat. I went there today and I'll be back again and again each week until the sungoes supernova. Read more
