The seafood pasta was just 5 mussels, one scallop that could fit into a little bottle cap and one shrimp that lived up to its... name. Garlic loaf was decent. Very clean restaurant with friendly staff and fantastic customer service. Worth driving 30m out of my city to eat at this... location, the food was delicious. They have a new temporary menu item, a cheese ravioli, I HIGHLY recommend trying it. Staffwere friendly, professional and had items to our table/took orders in a timely manner without hovering too much. We went for abirthday celebration and the staff sang happy birthday and brought out the cake I had brought with me for a surprise (they letus keep it in the fridge upon arrival and everyone did a great job keeping it hush hush). Great overall experience: large portions of tasty food (the tomato soup is heavenly) and our server was kind and genuinely... friendly (we didn't get his name, we went on Sunday). The food feels like homemade. The prices were reasonable especially thatthey have many offers and specials. Some reviews complained about some dishes, I don't understand how some people haveunreasonable expectations from a friendly and affordable nextdoor restaurant that feels like home. Read more
We had a great time! Friendly staff, our waitress was amazing, there was a cool robot that brought our food out which went over... well with my toddler! Nobody else was sat near us and it was dinner time on Friday. Hadn't been for years and it was a goodexperience to bring us back! Read more
It was clean, food was hot and tasted great. Katherine (Manager) greeted us with a smile and was so great to our boys. Sophia... our server was sweet, quick and on top of everything. This is our go to place when we have our boys with us for lunch ordinner. One observation- for dinner they should still offer unlimited soup and salad. They only do it for lunch which is silly.Offer it at both meal times. I hear it’s because this is a corporate store- corporate, follow Olive Gardens lead and offer itat dinner too!! I was out in Burlington one evening and decided to stop by East Side Mario's on Appleby Line for dinner with my daughter. As we... arrived we were quickly seated in a dark corner booth across from a football team of very loud boys. I was not comfortable withthe noise or the dark corner booth. I stopped the manager and asked for a quieter table elsewhere, his response was a quick 'nothere's no other tables' as he rushed off. After 10 mins of no service we decided to leave, as we were about to walk out themanager came and offered us a large family table in a quieter location of the restaurant. We were quickly attended to by aserver to take our order. I ordered spinach dip, calamari, Ceasar salad and my daughter wanted a cotton candy milkshake. Wewaited at least 25 minutes and nothing came to our table, including drinks. I had to stop a random server to ask for our foodand drink in which they quickly went over and brought out for us. The manager brought out the hot calamari plate and I still hadto ask for my daughter's drink. Finally after being in the restaurant for a total of 1 hour we got everything, in which I stillpaid full price. I understand they were busy, the manager tried to accommodate but the experience was NOT a good one. I wouldnot recommend this location, the food was good, fresh and hot when we finally got it. Food was good. I had spaghetti and meatballs and my meatballs were cold. Bit the service was quick and the rest of food was... well placed abd put together. Just leave chili pepper flakes in the table. Would of been nice without having to ask for them. Read more
