Went for a birthday dinner tonight, and it did not disappoint!! Our food was plentiful and delicious, all 3 of us have a meal... for tomorrow, that is how big the portions were. Our waitress Marina was amazing! Her attentiveness, kindness and blessings werejust so appreciated on this special occasion. We were searching for good Greek food in the area and this was one of the top rated restaurants. After trying the food it was... very disappointing. The rice and potatoes were bland and hard. The chicken and souvlaki sauce was mediocre at best. Instead ofpita they gave their own homemade bread. The staff are also not that friendly here and seem to not want to be there. I have been a customer of Sotiris from their time on Plains Rd. to their now location on Harvester Rd. The food is always good,... the calamari and the Greek chicken salad are my favorite! Nothing compares, all their food is actually fantastic. My onlycomplaint was as we were waiting in our car to go in I saw a gentleman peeing on the side of the building near the side door.Just thought it was a tad gross. I am sure employees have washrooms they can use and if you are going to do that maybe not do itat 7 pm when it is still daylight and people can see. I will definitely be back just wasn't impressed with that sight. Read more

I had a difficult time putting together this review because there were some great points and some very poor points of our... experience last night, which was our first time at Sotiris. Pros: -Beautiful restaurant -Delicious drinks & food Cons: -Waiterwas inattentive and unfriendly. Never checked up on us after food was delivered to see how it is, never checked up on us to seeif we needed more drinks, and seemed irritated when we would flag him down to order more items -We were seated in the firsttable closest to the door, which was a nice booth, but between the door constantly slamming closed, the cold air from outsidedrafting in, and hearing the commotion in the kitchen beside us, the ambiance was quite disappointing I'm not sure if we willreturn in the future. The quality of service alone was pretty disappointing considering the price points of this restaurant, orfor any restaurant to be honest. I can only remember receiving service this poor maybe once or twice in the past at an East SideMarios and another restaurant in that group. Read more
Fantastic Greek food and atmosphere! Amazing portions for the price. Our server was a joy to have. Our whole table ordered... dinners that came with Greek salad but we didn't realize for a while, and when brought up with our server, she was very kind andapologetic. The salads were brought out very quickly and we were even spotted a dessert. My only qualm was that the lights overthe table were too dim, even for an evening dinner atmosphere. But ultimately not a dealbreaker and had a wonderful time. Read more
