Excellent restaurant. Excellent food. The Blue cheese crust with your steak is a must! Picture is calamari and NY Steak with... garlic mashed potatoes and blue cheese crust on top of the steak. From calling to make a reservation to getting our bill at the end of the night we were amazed at the quality of customer service... we received. The hostess who took our received asked if we were celebrating anything special- we were! Our 15 year weddinganniversary! Our waiter Damian was great, and we were so impressed at how he and the kitchen manager handled our son's peanutallergy. He explained everything to us and let us know about potential cross contamination. The kitchen manager (an Indianlady) came to our table aa well and also explained the allergens. The food was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection! And weeven got a yummy piece of cake at the end of night to celebrate and he also brought my son a piece of creme brule-nut free ????so he could enjoy dessert with us. It was my son?s birthday and he chose The Keg to celebrate with a dinner on April 3rd. Overall, the staff were attentive,... service was prompt and the food was expected, a pleasant experience. My only constructive feedback is the consistency of thefood plating; our calamari did not have lemon wedges and the portions of the sides were inconsistent. My son and I had the samedish and his plate had 3 times the squash and broccoli. However, to help celebrate my son?s birthday they did provide acomplimentary Billy Miner slice of cake - very nice touch. My only other feedback is that the floor manager did not stop by ourtable until we had our jackets on and started to leave the table. Still grateful though that he did stop by because I?ve been tomore upscale establishments without even a thank you upon leaving. Read more
