On Monday we arrived to the hotel and ordered some dinner to go because they didn't have available reservations for that... night... the host recommended to order at the bar which we did. We waited for our food and order some drinks in themeantime.. The bartender stated they were short staff. We saw him gave our order to another person. When this person realizedwasn't his order he went to the bar and then the bartender look at us and brought the food to us... I'm very specific with myfood and the fact that someone else opened my food I don't think was right. We paid and went back to our room, when we got toour room the size of my pasta was super small and I paid $34 for a small box, the pasta was tasty but not worth the price.. What a pleasant surprise! We had a fabulous meal at Bleu when we couldn’t get into a different restaurant up the street. ... Wow! We started with the seafood chowder which was decadently delicious & beautiful. I next had the Little Gem lettuce saladwhich was “crafted” unlike most salads that are jumbled together. It was eye pleasing and totally tastebud engaging. Hubbywanted a steak but finding the menu lacking chose the Misty Knoll chicken roulade. It was the bomb! The service was engagingand responsive. Absolutely loved this place! We were in town for a single day as Burlington was the first stop with an 8 day road rally with our... Mini Cooper. We hadn't really researched where to eat and just happened upon this place. The view was stunning looking at LakeChamplain as the sunset - wow! Ismar, our waiter, was excellent! We were torn between the Lobster roll and the Monkfish andwent with the monkfish based on his recommendation as in his words 'lobster rolls are available in lots of places, the monkfishis not' SPOT ON MY FRIEND!!! Now here is the thing. I ordered mine requesting no bell peppers (allergy) When he brought it outit had peppers in it. This happens to me more often then you can imagine. Generally they take mine back to the kitchen and I sitand wait while I encourage my husband to eat his so it doesn't get cold. This was the absolutely FIRST time that a server tookback both of our plates to be remade so we would be able to eat together!! We got to enjoy our meal together, which for foodieslike us is great as we like to talk about what we are eating. Dining out is a social experience after all. There was a 2 piecemusical group in the adjacent lounge which made the experience even better if that is at all possible. Go here!! Read more

The people working were very friendly. However, it appeared that their was only one server for the entire restaurant. We had... appetizers and 1 drink. Food was a mix bag. Oysters were $21 and you got 6 of the smallest Oysters I have ever seen. Marinatedolives were great considering we got what looked like 2 jars worth. The third dish was excellent. I was just disappointedbecause we wanted to order entrees but were worried we would miss our remaining evening plans. Great beer and drink selection. Read more

Great spot in Burlington with some amazing dishes. I got the beef short rib, my wife had the gnocchi and we shared a bottle of... wine. When we were visited, there was also a 3 piece band playing relaxing music which further set the mood. Would definitelyrecommend. Read more

Burrata had great flavor but not enough burrata and bread was oily. Chicken sandwich was great but the burger was a hockey puck.... Ordered burger medium, got well. Both the chicken sandwich and hamburger had too small of buns with too much meat, badportioning. I had the mad rum cocktail, which was great. I also had the oysters and those were great. I wanted to like thisplace more but it’s a hotel restaurant and this one fit the mold. It was good but not great enough to be worth it. Also...over $30 entrees? Glad I didn’t try them.
