We have waited for this restaurant to open for awhile and finally got to enjoy a meal here with our family including 3 adults... and 1 child. The space is big and the service was good overall (attentive and timely).\n\nWe started with hijiki salad, seaweedsalad, and venison gyoza. All were fresh and tasted as expected for these dishes. We liked how the sushi, sashimi, and chirashidishes were simple and not overly complicated with too many ingredients. The rice was well seasoned (essential for these dishes)and fresh ingredients. The prices are good and the atmosphere is nice for meeting with a small party. Drink menu isextensive.\n\nWe are glad to have another Japanese food option in the Queen City. Read more

We just had our dinner there tonight and couldn?t wait for giving a five-star rating. We ordered the dumplings for appetizer and... it is amazing. The ingredients of the dumplings created a great flavor which we both like it. We both order chilashi as our maindish. The rice is the classic cold sushi rice ina good quality, at least not sticky at all. The top sashimi are a purple ofdifferent fishes. The quality of the fish meat is good. The middle one is amazing which the skin is slaty. It?s good to eat withthe rice. Read more

The sushi and service were spectacular. Fish selection was great. Every single bite I had from the Special Sushi Sampler was... different and packed with great flavors. The portion sizes of the fish were a little too generous compared to the rice but inthe end it was a great bonus. It showed off the freshness and quality of the cuts they use. The service staff were veryattentive the moment we walked through the doors and worked very hard to deliver a great meal service. Read more

There was a small issue with their ticketing system when we placed our order, and thus we had a delay -- but it wasn\'t a big... deal, as I was enjoying some Japanese whiskey and catching up with a friend.\n\nOur food was amazing. Definitely some of thebest sushi I\'ve had in VT and I\'ve been to almost all sushi places in the area. Service was good too. It\'s a little on thepricey side but as they say: you get what you pay for\n\nOverall, was impressed and will definitely be back ???????????????? Read more

Recently opened location (less than a year)\n\nI definitely think there were some highlights and some lowlights.\n\nHighlights... were definitely the wait/bar staff. Shae (sp?) and Shane were amazing bartenders - very talkative and engaging, loved theirservice and just very nice people.\n\nFood wise - I think my miso soup was fantastic, the seaweed salad was okay. I got the chefsushi plate and that was kind of disappointing. Just very standard for the price. The volcano roll was also good - but again Ithink I missed out on like a crazy punch of flavor or something interestingly done with the sushi.\n\nThe food was good - justnot great and the prices were definitely more on the greater side.\n\nThe space itself is nice and big - though underutilized. Ibelieve they just started a robatayaki grill which looked cool but was too busy to sit at.\n\nA lot of potential - I just don\'tthink they are \"there\" yet. Read more
