I went to the Burlington location and I love love love this place. The only downfall is that everything on their menu looks and... sounds amazing so it?s hard to make a choice. After I informed the cashier I was vegan he had some great suggestions and wasknowledgeable about the menu (most anything can be made vegan!) I went two days in a row and plan on going back very soon. Ifyou like ginger I recommend the Cold Killer juice, it?s packed with flavor and nutrients. I... can forgive shortages since they're probably super busy during leafpeeping season, but the cashier had to come hunt me down atmy seat *after I paid* to inform me that they were unexpectedly out of my entree. Avocado toast with lox was amazing, and same with the grain bowl we ordered. Will definitely be back to try the açaí bowl!
Absolutely terrific customer service from the Burlington team! Juan is truly an incredible team member and is such a happy,... welcoming presence. Both Juan and the entire staff go out of their way to be sure everyone is well taken care of. Service isalways speedy and efficient. I had a small issue with my meal this evening (unheard of at Thorn & Roots) prompting Juan tofollow up with me directly to resolve the problem within minutes. Two huge thumbs up to Juan and the Thorn & Roots staff! Themenu is nutritious, diverse, and always delicious. Very happy to be a returning customer! I appreciate you all! Read more
Walked in here with my friend for a quick dinner bite. This place presents a bright vibrant atmosphere but upon walking up to... the order counter the staff member was on his phone and uninterested in helping us navigate their complicated menu and takingour orders. I ordered some Mediterranean Farro bowl with a smoothie. The smoothie was good which earned one of the stars from myreview. My friend also ordered the farro bowl after me but then they told them they were out of farro. I have a feeling theyscraped up what they could from the bottom of the pot for my farro bowl because it was crunchy and felt as if I was chewing onrocks. Not to mention, the toppings for the bowl and sauce were nothing to rave about and thrown on top sloppily. Went to the Ridgewood, NJ location. Had the avocado toast with burrata on one occcasion and the Mediterranean bowl on another.... Food was fresh and delicious and filling. Place is spacious, modern, and clean. There?s outdoor seating too. Overall goodexperience both times - hoping to go back to try other things. Read more
Received warm welcome upon walking up to the counter. All four dishes were served with healthy avocados. The Burrata was great... on top of multi grain bread with pesto and pistachio. The green goodness dressing on Veggie was fantastic on the sourdough. TheMoroccan included a lot of greens, roasted cauliflower, carrot strips, and more ingredients.
