Great coffee, friendly staff, a nice warm place on a snowy day

This place has some of the BEST food, pastries, etc. that I've ever enjoyed for breakfast & lunch. I'm not from Burlington, but... I spent a lot of time there leading up to my wedding at Mercantile Hall (which is right across the street). Whenever I was intown (meeting with a vendor, touring the venue, dress shopping, makeup trial, etc. etc.), I always stopped at The Coffee House.Literally?the best bagels I've had outside of NYC. We also catered from here the morning of our wedding for both the groomsmen(who got ready up the street at Low Daily) and the bridesmaids (who were right across the street at Mercantile Hall). Everythingwas SO tasty, and Emma made the catering/delivery process so easy. The space is charming & cozy, and even though I live inChicago with hundreds of coffee shops nearby, I find a little piece of myself craving & missing The Coffee House! Read more

I had a very good caramel macchiato with almond milk. This is a very cute place for pictures. Nice workers.

Fun, comfortable, casual atmosphere. Iced Americano was delicious. My wife's hot Americano also delicious. I had a "pizza roll"... that was shaped like a cinnamon roll. That, too, was delicious. We were passing through. Another one of our coffee shop hops.This would be a great place to sit and write. I know I could write for hours here. If I have to pick on anything, the WiFiconnection was unreliable. We sat as close to the front door as possible, so maybe this had something to do with it. Such a great place to go to! The servers are great and everyone is so friendly, especially Matt. His knowledge at the bar at the... liars club is wonderful and he's so funny! Definitely makes it an enjoyable time. The drinks and food are to die for, 10/10,would recommend. Read more
