Favorite pizza in Burlington! Homemade italian sausage is outstanding, and love their thin crust!

Worst experience I've had at a restaurant. Took forever to get drinks and bread. Had 2 or 3 other tables come in after us and be... seated and served before us. Ordered food waited 30 minutes or so for the waitress to come out and tell us they were out ofwhat my husband ordered. He tryed ordering the Friday fish fry instead but they where out of that too. Mind you they have onlybeen open for an hour and a half. Asked for more bread 4 different times. I ended up tipping a waitress that wasn't even oursbecause she helped our table more then our own waitress by asking if we needed anything, getting us boxes and taking care of ourcheck for us. We visit Burlington often and have never been. This was not out first choice as place we'd had out eyes set was closed. What a... great spacious, comfy, welcoming place! We ordered 2 orders of Gnocchi which are 13 dollars on their online menu and added mozzarella cheese for an additional 2... dollars each. It came with either a salad or soup and garlic bread. Our total was 41.94. Nothing else was ordered. Went topick up and the girl was like did you order two soups I said no it came with soup or salad and we got one of each. She removedthe other soup from the bag and I questioned if we were charged for an additional soup which she stated no. Then I questionedthe price and she stated there is a carry out fee. I said what and she goes it's only 2 dollars. We got home there was notmuch in the containers at all and my garlic bread was burnt. We will not be going back there. The pizza is generally good, as long as you ask for extra cheese and tell them over and over what you want because we ordered... extra cheese and for it to be cut in squares and this is what we got. I called immediately and told the man on the phone myqualms and he told me "unfortunately we don't always remember to do that. We typically cut in slices so I'll give you $5 offyour next purchase." I said no, I paid $35 for our order I kind of expect to get what I paid for. I know how making pizzas work,I used to do it for a long time. We took a little drive from Lake Geneva to find this place. The restaurant was clean. The waitress wasn?t the friendliest... initially, but she warmed up. The food was so good! We had the Calamari Fritti for our appetizer. Good portion. Really goodmarinara sauce. Complimentary French baguette was warm and served with herb infused olive oil. Very good. We ordered the ShrimpPenne and the Scallops Florentine. The menu said the spring were jumbo and the scallops large. They were more like medium size.However the flavor of the dishes is what earned this rating a 5 star. So good! It was our anniversary and we ordered tiramisu totop it off. We would come back again!
