Went to order a root beer and it took forever. You would think its pretty easy to make single order for root beer. Also please... note there was not line and was not busy. The female staff came out of the back and took my order. After she took the order sheprocessed to make a hot chocolate, slowly. Took her about 2 mins to make this hot chocolate. During the process of making thishot chocolate she went into the back for unknown reasons. I believe it was to get instructions on how to put the powder and hotwater into the cup correctly. After she finished making the hot chocolate she took the drink to the back and came out shortlyafter. She came out and was ready to take another order. At this point I have been standing there for a while waiting for myroot beer. The customers that ordered behind me from another cashier has already got their two teen burger meals and left. I hadto remind her about the root beer. Shortly after the reminder I finally got the drink. Just frustrated about the lack ofurgency. Read more
Sooooo friendly and thoughtful service for kids menu - how the treats and ketchup were added was sooo thoughtful.
Worst experience ever at an A & W. I took 2 of my grandchildren there for dinner. The teen burger had a huge piece of hard... part of lettuce with rust on it, the onion rings were unrecognizable as A & W onion rings, The batter was mostly off, thegrease was unbelievable even the color was off. I should have taken a picture. I felt bad for the guy at the register he justhung his head and said sorry. Read more
Employees mess up about half the time. Ask them if they have something, they say yes, the order goes through, they give you... something you didn't order...because they didn't have what they told you they had. Brutal. I wish their manager was morecompetent and was able to hire people who speak better English and have better work ethic Read more

The one at Lougheed Mall in Burnaby BC is awful. Super-slow, they burned the bun, put lettuce instead of cabbage. Avoid.
