Finally tried out Afghan Turkish Cuisine after driving by it many, many times. We tried: - Lahmacun ($3.99) - always hard to... find a good lahmacun in town. - Lamb shank platter ($14.99) - lamb shank was tender, yet still retained a good bite to it. -Adana platter ($12.99) - both beef skewers were flavourful and well seasoned - Chicken platter ($12.99) - Turkish coffee($2.50) Shout out to the garlic sauce! First time here. Went for the chicken platter and beef platter. You can tell both portions were good. $12.99 each For the... chicken one, i opted for spicy. The chicken itself did not taste as flavorful as the beef. I really enjoyed the 3 dips they havein the corner as well. Especially the garlic one was a bit stronger and more suited to my tastes. LOVED my meal here. I had the special platter which had chicken and beef mixed with rice (has raisins in it) and salad and... sauces. It was one of the most delicious dinners I have had in a while. Great big portion and a reasonable price. My husbandhad the Lamb Shank and he loved it. My daughter had a small chicken donair and she said it was so delicious. The TurkishCoffee was good and strong and served in beautiful little cups. This place is busy...so you may have to wait a little bit. Itis so worth it. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!! Nice food. Authentic Afghanistan as I visited in 2003. Parking is kind of difficult sometimes.
