This pasta place is a recent go to place for me & my family. It?s a quaint little restau & It?s near my church so it?s an easy... walk going there. The food is great and it?s not as expensive. Plus the servings are huge and makes you remember how restaurantsin Vancouver used to have this size of portions 5 years ago. Tucked in a quiet neighbourhood, it is a busy restaurant with many take out orders. The restaurant has a capacity of 20 pax, it... is very bright and spacious. The food was really delicious, we had ordered a cheese ravioli one of my favourite, and the secondone was a build your own, in which I added penne, rose sauce, olives, artichokes, bell peppers, corn, mozeralla, parmessan,basil and other herbs and a side of garlic bread. The taste was really good, the portion size was good, but the garlic bread wasjust 2 slices as I had expected 4 for the price of 2.49. Came here because of the reviews. Good for cheap pasta, but it didn't really curb my pasta craving. Carbonara was more like a... white sauce pasta and the spaghetti and meatball surprisingly had a kick to it. Overall only come if you're not fussy about yourpasta and don't want to spend much. Ordered a pesto pasta and a pesto cream pasta. Looking at the other reviews, it might've just been an off day for the chefs... since the chicken breast, mushroom, and my pesto pasta was close to flavorless. We had to add a copious amount of salt; sincethe pastas were so bland, I have to give two stars. Would love to be proven wrong and give you guys more stars since theservice provided by the staff was great. Cashier was super polite and washroom/store was very clean. Read more

This place is an absolute delight. You won?t get better custom pasta for even close to this price, anywhere in the country. I... have long been a satisfied customer and huge fan of Basil Pasta Bar on Davie downtown, now I found it?s sister on Kingsway inBurnaby (across from Central Park). Tried the lemon chicken fettuccine. What's nice is they use fresh herbs here so there was freshly sliced basil on my pasta with... lots of cheese and chicken chunks. The portion is nice and big but not too big. Quite nice. It would be even more awesome ifthey made their own homemade pasta from scratch. Tasted pretty good otherwise. Read more
Had the Lemon Chicken Fettucine with garlic bread. Was not that impressed by the Lemon Chicken but the Garlic Bread stole the... show for me. Service was great, Johnny/Charlie was great and helped out a lot for making the meal even better! Would try otheroptions and avoid the chicken ???? Read more
