terima kasih !! It's no surprise that this joint was bustling from 0 to 100 within me being there for 10 minutes, this place is... phenomenal! The food is super yummy, incredibly authentic and absolutely bursting with insane, traditional tasting flavors andspices. We both got the Veggies & Tofu Curry on Rice after an delicious serving of the Roti Canai. This was literally one of thebest Asian dishes I have had in Vancouver and completely made my day, period. The flavors and fresh/quality grade of the grubwas flawless, I could happily eat this every day my entire life and never get bored. Staff are great, extremely friendly andaccommodated to my request of extra spicy, yummy! I also love how this place has a great menu with plenty of vegetarian options.The eatery is extremely clean, efficient, laid back with a nice cosy and family home cooking style vibe. The place was clean and comfortable. The Hainan Chicken was served very quickly. The taste was ok with no surprise. Taste just... like the chicken from Bubble Waffle. The noodle was not freshly made from the wok coz it was slightly warmer than roomtemperature. Chicken wings were crispy and juice, but I would prefer korean fried chicken. The menu has very little selections.I was expecting to see more authentic malaysian dishes like rendang.....Kopitiam on Rupert is a better Malaysian restaurant thanGreen and Oak. Note: cash/debit only, signs are posted at the entrance and inside Staff are so warm and friendly, what a delight. Bright and... calm ambiance, very comfortable to dine in and have a conversation. Tables are spaced out appropriately. The hainanese chickenwas good, you can add +$1 for specifically white or dark meat. The soup that comes in the set is light. Roti for $6.50 and somany pieces?! Man, that's so difficult to find these days. Absolutely delicious and a must-try. The mee goreng was nicely doneas well. Definitely a revisit in the future. Read more

Came with a few friends on a Monday night and the place was packed. While they were busy between both dinner service and take... out orders, our food came out timely and accurately, and the staffs all remain in good spirits as well! Food came out hot andvery tasty. Their Hainanese Chicken was very tender and juicy, and we loved the peanuty sauce that came with the satays—soyummy. The restaurant itself was clean, and seating was comfortable and spaced out. I could see why this place would be packedeven on a weekday night. Would definitely visit again to try other things on their menu! Read more

Very nice interior, spacious, clean and new looking. The service was fantastic the waitress came by to refill tea often. The... food is good, high quality ingredients and very healthy tasting, some might say the food is bland because of this, but I didn'tmind it. The soup wasn't too heavy and salty as mentioned above, a bit healthy tasting. The chicken tasted pretty fresh and therice was al dent. Great vibe, so fresh. The restaurant is family owned. The lady owner kept checking on us to make sure everything is fine.
