Came here for lunch and ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Fair portion size, but wish it came with a bit more pulled pork for... the $15 price tag. The BBQ sauce wasn't excessive, just the right amount so it wasn't spilling out of the bun. Decent andplentiful fries (could also substitute for a salad). The crispy onions maintained their crisp. Came with a group and did have towait a while for the food, perhaps a lack of kitchen staff as there were other groups also dining in. Still, a good diningoption on campus! Read more

I've been a weekly patron of the Habitat for over a year. After a long-lasting, friendly, personable and attentive bartender... left over the Winter Break, I thought the time for my weekly beer would be a lot worse off. I was wrong. The current servingstaff have been nothing short of awesome. I can see the point of some people complaining about the speed of service, butpersonally I've never had an issue with service here, either at the bar or at a table. i know this is a pub and the general expectation would be that is is "pub food" but the food here is really good. so good, that... my friends from my work office down the street insist on coming here even though they dont drink. thats a testament to how goodthe food is. sometimes gets a bit weird cause the students like to get a bit rowdy... but its all part of the charm IMHO. hastons of seats too: never had to wait to get in. the patio is sloped a fair bit which kinda sucks but if you sit inside with somefriends, grab a few drinks and some great food... you will not be disappointed. Popped by here after attending an info session for somebody else's future program to watch the hockey game. I originally wanted... to order the feature 'pulled duck tacos' but sadly they were sold out of that, so I opted for the fish tacos instead.Price forthe tacos were reasonable and it was good to have. They had a few beer specials which wasn't too bad, either. We sat at the barwith great viewing point to watch the game on the big screen or the flat screen TVs on both side of us. They have pool tablesand a couple of arcade games. I would have a lot of fun here if I was a student after long days of class/project work. I'm very impressed by their beer selection and beer specials. The regular servers are very friendly and do a great job on those... days when the place is packed (first week of school or end of exams). Everyone always says service is slow here, but I reallythink things have picked up here over the last year. I wouldn't normally give five stars to a place unless their food was alsogreat (although some dishes here are), but this is a pub and who goes to a pub for great food anyways. i asked the waitress if they had like a $5 beer special and her reply was ?ughh you should go to mcdonald?s? and i was blown... away at how rude this comment was. maybe she was having a bad day, i get it but just not too thrilled with that comment.however, bar seemed pretty chill. they got decent charging stations too at the booths 2nd time being here: 100% rude serverswho treat you like children. can?t remember the last time i had service like this. mcdonalds treats you with more respect andhave better table cleaning services. would highly recommend skipping this place also, bouncer allows underage people into thebar without any valid ID at all. blown away with the unprofessionalism. Great staff! Food is definitely above average. Typical Pub fare.
