An underrated hole in the wall hot spot and skewers spot, this is one of my favourite places to come for hot pot and beers.... Service is always very friendly, their food is delicious and unique, and I love the interior decor. One thing to note is thattheir tables are very small to fit in with their "roadside/street food" theme, so if you order lots you might have to store alot of food on the provided side tables. Their skewers are some of the best in Vancouver. Roadside Spicy Pot never disappoints! Read more

The best skewers hot pot restaurant I?ve been to in lower mainland. Food are very fresh and the price is cheaper than other same... style restaurant. The broth is flavourful and they use a very deep pot which ensures all the skewers are soaked by the broth.Good beer deal too! I can?t believe it took me this long to come here, I?ll be back! The decor of this place was so unique and made you feel like you were really having hotpot on the roadside. The broth was nice... and flavourful. There?s the option of choosing two different broths. We got the Traditional spicy and the Tomato soup base. Theoptions for the skewers were plentiful and so fresh. Make sure you try the wagyu beef! The service was exceptional, Nick wasattentive and he made our first time visit a great experience. Will definitely be back! Read more

Great portion, fresh materials and great communication. Probably one of the best/freshest ox stomach (???I have for a while.... Unlike other places where give you some small slices and small portion in a big bowl pretending large portion, the bowl isstuffed to bursting. They also called me to confirm my order since I ordered it extra spicy. Will def order it again. The onlydownside is the package. ?????????????? Read more

First time at this dining place after per recommendation and wasn't sure how it's gonna turn out. Wow! It did not disappoint.... Food was good for someone who just started venturing out. Am not sure if it was because it was busy but it took a little longerthan I expected to get the different skewers we ordered. Overall good though. 8/10. Read more

Came for hot pot on a Saturday night. We didn't have a reservation and it wasn't busy as there were open tables available. I... liked the decor of the restaurant. It was really cute and Instagram worthy for sure. The service all night was really fast. Wehad an instant where one of us dropped a chopstick and the server produced a chopstick within 5 seconds. Very sharp eyes. Weordered an array of dishes. I would definitely recommend the crispy pork slice (side dish for munching), cilantro beef (veryappetizing), shredded beef tripe, spicy beef (side dish also for munching) and the Wagyu beef (for hot pot). In general, I feltthat their portions for the items not on a stick are very generous and well priced. The items offered on a stick are meant to besmall portions as tradition has it. I really liked the array of meat options available. I thought that the food was not bad andservice was good. Would recommend it for hotpot and hanging out with friends (not so much for elders as the tables can be quitelow). We also got a dessert just to try it out - brown sugar ice jelly. Very refreshing to end a very oily and spicy meal. Tip:the sausages on their are not your usual sausages you find at hot pot but the Chinese kind of sausage. FYI if you can't eatspicy don't order the spicy hot pot base as it is pretty spicy and oily. Read more

Ok, first off... Interesting interior with large murals that everyone has been talking about. The one thing about the interior... that is a bit off putting (and I'm nitpicking here) are the really short tables and chairs that remind you of what you would seein an elementary school. The thing that draws a lot of people is that most skewers are $0.50... which is cheap indeed... Butthings do add up quickly and you also have to factor in the price of the soup base (our broth choice came out to $20). Overall, our meal for 2 totalled about $80. Food wise, I really liked the ramen (I know it's probably the cheapest thing there but itwas so good cooked in the spicy broth). The various skewers also turned out nicely. Read more

I love the decor here!!! It really gives me that road side eating in Asia. The menu wasn?t huge but the items was very tasty and... the soup was so flavourful. The only thing I can say is it?s dangerous to order so many skewers, each item is 50 cents and itadds up fast. The waygu beef is so amazing. Everything was so fresh and service was great. Must try!
