Excellent food and customer service! The waiter was accommodating to what we wanted and he said he wanted us to have a happy... experience! I had the butter chicken lunch special! Such a good price too! My friend had the butter chicken and curry platterspecial where you get to try a bunch of different things plus dessert! Both of us couldn't finish our food and had to take therest home! Definitely wouldn't mind going there again! Read more

Nice dine-in restaurant near by Metrotown servicing good quality food. We ordered their vegetable thali and one serving can... easily satisfy two adults. Didn?t get to try other items from their menu but the dishes on the thali were really tasty. Decentand helpful staff members. Calm, dim lighting around the restaurant. Overall, had a good experience! Saffron I wasn?t a big fan of Indian cuisine until a couple of friends recommended this place. I had the mild butter chicken... with naan. The others ordered different dishes - saffron Thali, chilli beef, tandoori chicken, vegetarian Thali, & chickenbiryani. The best valued menu items were the dinner combo Thali dishes! There are vegetarian and vegan options plus mild,medium, or hot spicy. One diner was sweating from the spicy food. Overall portions were small as there were a couple of stillhungry mouths to feed. The decor is nice along with great service. Our server admitted to serving the wrong person & quicklymade another dish. They?re located just west of Kingsway & Willingdon. We ordered food around 9 p.m. and I knew they were closing at 9:30 p.m. so, I asked if it?s okay to order and girl said it?s... totally fine. They said it will be ready in 15 mins. I picked up my food after 20 mins. and they definitely rushed in making.Naans were all burnt and was not eatable at all, every bite had a bitter taste. Extra star is just for the curry. Read more
I?m usually not a fan of Indian food cuz everything looks similar: a brownish coloured mush. But this place surprised me, the... Saffron Thali is such a great combo that you get to try a bit of everything. The butter chicken is one of the best one that I?vehad. And the lamb curry and lamb biryani (too good that I forgot to take a photo) are both very delicious. I?ll be coming backfor sure! Read more
Ordered a veg thali which had Matar Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Daal with side of Naan, Rice, Salad, Veg pakora and Kheer or gulab jamun,... you have to choose between kheer or gulab jamun. Also ordered Chaat papri which was just okay. Everything tasted good and chaiwas strong. Read more
