I ordered an Americano and the barista started brewing the hot espresso directly into the plastic cup. Guess they weren?t aware... that it may melt the plastic and cause chemicals and serious health problems? Which was kinda disappointing. I had requested two travel packs of coffee for my father's funeral reception for 2pm the next day. I sent my cousin there to... pick up and nothing was made. They said they forgot and had to wait 25-30 minutes to get it. Called them and they said sorrythat's it. Terrible customer service. Read more

My favourite Starbucks to go to. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They my get your order right away. The wait time... varies but that?s typical of a busy place. The baristas are so swift! For me, sometimes Starbucks are so crowded and noisy. Thisplace isn?t too crowded and always has seats available- around 8am-9am- not sure about other hours. Read more

Oh my word.. I thought I'd go on a whim and try a cold beverage for the first time and so stoked I did. This is now my favorite... coffee!! Got a 'Cold Brew with Cinammon Almond Foam' and customized with a splash of soy milk and cinnamon powder topping.Absolutely delicious! One of my reasons to not hesitate this time was that I saw Starbucks have now ditched the straws and havefully recyclable take out cups! Finally, I'm so glad they're doing their part and changed my decision on coldbeverages. Convenient mobile ordering in advance and pickup from the joint is super easy, convenient and allows a lot ofgranularity when customizing your order as well as COVID friendly/collect some loyalty points for your troubles. Make sure youcheck the offers in the app before ordering as you need to activate the offer before committing! The staff are awesome, skilledbaristas and extremely friendly. A fantastic location outside the skytrain station, comfortable, clean and well maintainedcoffee house with nice restrooms. Do not order delivery as this is now the third time I've received my venti beverage burnt, missing the additional syrup AND... about an inch of the drink missing (missing drink is definitely not from the uber drivers, it always come still well packagedwith no signs of spillage.) do yourself a favour and order from the Kensington location.
