Great restaurant with some fantastic food. The beef short ribs, teriyaki and various rolls were enough for a substantial (and... well priced dinner) with friendly service and well priced. Can be very busy at peak times. Pick-up is also an option. Have beencoming here for almost 20 years and quality is always second to none. No rice with the chicken teriyaki. So many places selling Bento boxes in the neighborhood, I will not be returning. Service is... below average. Even the orange slices were a failure. Hidden old school north american style Japanese gem If you want value, good taste and lots of option, nothing will beat this... place. Service is great, place is big and ingredients are fresh. Was in the neighborhood, so decided to get some take-out. I was in rush so only ordered something I thought should be easy to... make...I ended up wait for 30 minutes..(I was the only customer in the restaurant)...In fact I saw the food was ready about 15mins after I placed the order. But nobody checked, and nobody in the front that I can speak or reminding till another 15mins. The food was fine. Not bad. The slices are super thick. Definitely not Japanese at all. Read more

If you're looking for value, if you're looking for size, this is the place! This is very affordable. I ordered a veggie combo,... and it was massive. I couldn't finish it! My friends ordered a bantle box that is around $20 in. It literally comes with soup,ramen, teriyaki, salad, agedeshi tofu, tempera, sumono salad. The taste was okay, but the value is exceptional.
