Spicy beef noodle soup with flank and tendon was really good and would come back just for this! Super tender, flavorful, and... pretty big too! The tofu had a nice texture, but too lightly marinated for my liking. The pig ear was not good for theprice. Service could use improvement - never got our water refilled. And it took multiple tries to flag someone down. Take outcontainers are $0.50 each - they tell you, so there's no surprise, but that's steep lol. Lastly, their machine doesn't supporttap payment, so no paying by phone! Read more

The pros: had the sausage combo which was nicely plated and came in a cool metal bento tin with the sausage on top and the rice... below just like in Taiwan. The side dishes were nice too and gave you variety. Pickled veggies were good. Beef noodle soup alsogood. Cons: they advertised they had ?freshly squeezed orange juice? and this was not true. It tasted and looked likeTropicana/Mccains orange juice mixed with maybe half a real orange for pulp on top. It was seriously like 90% processed boxedorange juice mixed with 10% real orange juice so this was very deceiving. As someone who gets fresh squeezed orange juice fromother places as well as squeezes their own orange juice at home, you can tell the difference right away because the taste isnight and day. Just look at the opaque colour in the picture?.this is mostly boxed orange juice! Read more

Yummy, generous portions. Very clean bathrooms. Worth a visit. BUT, they charge for chilli oil which sucks. Add $0.05 to the... price of every dish and don't nickel and dime for sauce or take home containers ($0.50 each!). Read more

Jeeeeezzzzz! This place hits the spot! Our friend introduced this to us and it didn?t disappoint. The chicken nugget fried rice... is a must. Between 8 people, we got two of the chicken nugget fried rice, a seafood fried noodle, two fried squid, one chickenknee cap and one eggplant with ground pork. It was the perfect amount of food and everything came out so quickly and was sodelicious. AND we split everything and in total everything cost $16/pp after tax and tip, which for dinner, is impossiblenowadays! Don?t sleep on the knee caps. The mango slush was a banger too. Read more

Use to come here all the time. The food is still good and they take credit cards now when back in the day it was cash only. This... establishment has been here for a long time. Would be cool if they updated the interior a bit. Read more

Decided to try The One for the first time in 2 plus years on Saturday March 19th, 2022. Was hesitant because of past... reviews. Went for an early dinner because place can be quit busy during dinner time. Well place was still clean and bright, service a bit slow as expected but the food was great! Presentation was good and bug portions. One plate of fired rice canliterally feed 3 plus people. We had their popular Chicken Nugget Fried Rice, Fried Squid, order of XO sauce fried beef noodleand couple of other dishes. Also had their popular slushy drinks. Drinks are literally towers of slush. We ordered lycheeslush, mango slush and coconut pinnapple slush. All 3 were loaded with flavor as we remembered. Dinner was great and veryaffordable for families! Service even though a bit slow, workers were friendly and polite. Must try spot for everyone. Read more

One of the best Taiwanese restaurants in Vancouver. Authentic is the key! Their popcorn chicken is perfectly made, braised... beef noodle soup was delicious as well as all the other dishes we tried. Chocolate smoothie also highly recommended. Read more
