I have been to many Wings locations in the past, it was my first time here. This one my least favourite location. The staff did... know how to do simple math to be able to split the bill (she could?ve used the calculator, I?m fine with as long as they don?truin our bill). Furthermore, the music was so loud that we had to quickly eat and leave (no other location has ever done that).I think they do it on purpose so people leave faster lol. Too good! Have to come back here again and ordered exact same dishes and more! Took my mom here on Mother?s day and she... absolutely loved everything we ordered! This time I took both of my parents to have Father?s Day dinner again! My dad lovestheir beer and wings and we enjoyed our dinner very much, very good service & environment. Our top favourite entrée issundried tomato prawn linguine and favourite dessert is warm chocolate brownie with ice cream! Hot & cold and just melted inyour mouth! I do wish their wings were saucier though. I told the server about this after we finished our dinner. She said wecould request extra sauce. Noted! Must go for anyone who loves wings. It reminded me of Buffalo wild wings. They really know what they are doing when it comes to... sauces. Perfect sports bar. Really quick service, amazing, amazing food, and that's it. I didn't book in advance, walked rightin, and they accommodated me immediately. I will visit again for sure. Read more
I went with my bf for dinner and we experienced a good environment. What I had was what the restaurant calls a combo wings which... comes with 10 wings (just one flavor), yam fries and 2 pieces of cheese bread. I can not say that the plate was huge because theprice is $21 but the taste of the wings I had was good (buffalo) and a lot of yam fries that came with a chipotle dressing. Thatwas very tasty. My bf had a chicken burger which came with a large side of fries for $18. That wasn't huge either but the tastewas good. He also had a couple of Budweiser beers and I'd like to point out that the size was pretty decent for the price. Theservers were very kind to us and the bus person always checked that we were enjoying our food. It is a good place to go to hangout with friends, on a date or just by yourself if you want to go and see a sports event on TV. My wife and I were going to head over to Popeyes but we needed to face South to get on Kingsway since we were facing North. A... right turn and we were in Griffiths ready to be on Kingsway until we saw a spot in the parking lot of Wings. We saw the SteakSpecial and decided to try that with some Wingerz. I had the steak cooked medium rare and two orders of Wingerz. Since the wifedoes not like dipping sauce, I had it plain. Two sodas were in our order as well I don't know how many people eat steak withmashed potatoes, but I like mine with gravy. The steak was nice, but I wish there was a gravy option. Maybe I should haveordered water too because it seemed that I needed to have continuous refills or a larger glass to store the liquid contents. Mywife wanted to try boneless bites called Wingerz. It felt heavy because it is a peace of boneless chicken battered andflavoured. We should have stuck to the traditional boned in versions, but as a sauce guy, I should have ordered a dipping sauceto go alongside. I guess I am more reminiscent for the Old Days. The food is forgettable. What is memorable will be the people and company here. Come here for some drinks, snacking and good... chats with friends, strangers or the very friendly and scantily clad female staff members :). Prices are fair and they have alarge selection of drinks and foods. In terms of food, think of this place as a premium Mcdonalds if Mcdonalds ever decided toopen a signature line for their goods - which is what I'd imagine would be reflective of - ie: Wings foods.
