I use to eat at Davanni?s once a week way way back in the day. I remember it being simple and dependable. As I walked in it... was like I never left 20 odd years ago. A taped sign to the door stating no beer past this point. Friendly counter help. Simple pizza and sandwhich menu. Kids, always kids and or families scurrying about yelling or crying but generally not to bad. I had a solo pizza which found my table about 10 mins after ordering. Hot and fresh on that little pizza pan with rack thing. It was good but 20 some years later I realized it?s not much differet than a frozen pizza crust wise. The sauce is ok. Cheeseis good but just short of enough. The Canadian bacon was proportionally good. But halfway through the za and a birthday partyballoon pop I realized Davanni?s is like a Chuck E Cheese without all the booger, snot and saliva games and the daycare gonewild feel. Davanni?s food seems to be set up for young and old pallets. Those pallets that don?t yet care and those that don?tcare anymore. And in the big picture that?s ok because you know exactly what your getting when you walk in the door. Enjoy! Love my local Davanni's in Burnsville. They recently went out of their way to make me a chicken parmesan hoagie even though it... had recently been taken off the menu. They were very polite as always, and made my day with this delicious meal :) Read more

I only ordered a large pepperoni and some cheese bread. I even picked it up since I live really close to Davanni's. The pizza... itself was inedible the crust was burnt and the dough was not properly prepared. I called the manager to complain. He said Iwould get a refund for the pizza and a coupon for a free large pizza. So far there's been no refund to my bank account. He didsend the coupon for a free pizza though. Update: I followed up like he asked below, but still no resolution. This was 2 weeksago Update #2: After being contacted by management and exchanging emails it was determined that my CC never got charged so thishas been resolved to my satisfaction and I?m changing the rating to 3. I?ve been ordering from this location in Burnsville for 20 years. I have never once complained and am an extremely above average... tipper. The pizza I received this evening, after waiting over 45 minutes, was embarrassing. It is so burnt, I?m not sure how itwas approved to leave the building. Unreal. Read more
Very good experience! Plenty of options, including different sizes and a kids menu. Reasonable prices. Really like the Coke... freestyle machine. It took a while to get our food, about 30 minutes, but they make it to order so that's to be expected. Thankyou to the friendly young man and took our order. He walked us new comers through the menu and was very helpful. Read more
