The Burnsville location of Taqueria la Hacienda is the best for authentic Mexican food and superior service. I got two orders of... quesadillas, one cheese, one al pastor (pork prepared in a traditional way). The orders included rice and refried beans.Everything was incredible. I also got shrimp cocktail or cóctel de cameron, and my husband and I will try that tonight. One ofthe staff even helped me bring me being my take-out order to my close-by car (it was a cane-using day for me). Fear not if youdon?t speak Spanish or if you are a shy beginning Spanish speaker like me. I spoke mostly in my limited Spanish and wasunderstood with no problem! Very exciting for me. I will go back for the great food and the chance to speak Spanish. Read more

Great authentic al pastor ( trompo ) tacos ! The tortilla is not greasy or cold , is just perfect !! The salsas are great !!... Not spicy or overwhelm garlic or onion taste. The natural flavored drinks are not too sweet and not to plain . ( horchata andJamaica ) the horchata water is made with rice and cinnamon. And the Jamaica is hibiscus water . ????. I?ve been to the otherlocations and the one in Burnsville is the best !! Thank you to the cooks !! Read more

Alambre must mean onios and peppers on tortillas. Never had Alambres before but if thats what it is, then certainly not doing... that again. Made it seem like there was no meat, which was their signature el pastor. Greasy. Maybe authentic isn't for me. Buthey, its definitely not in the Taco Bell/Chipotle line of Mexican food, if those are Mexican food. Staff was kind, service wasquick and the food was hot. Read more

Got there about 6 PM. No line. Easy ordering. Like the big TV behind the counter showing pictures of everything and their names.... Price was right. Food was good. Read more

Nice place, pretty good food, and friendly. There shouldn't be an extra charge for larger tortillas, and not real big portions... for a platter, beans out of a can ? Read more

I love this place! Their tacos are delicious! The sauce is pretty spicy but I also am not very good with spicy food. I love the... decor in here too, very bright colors and art. Read more

Oh my Torta!!! This is our go-to local spot for outstanding Mexican food in the south metro. The flavors are terrific, the... staff is friendly (and kind if you?re inquisitive about trying dishes for the first time), and the prices aren?t bad. If you?relooking to branch out from your usual grab and go (or chain sit-down) Mexican fare, in favor of the real deal, look nofurther! All of the dishes (many) we have ordered have been exceptional. My wife loves the shrimp tacos (small on corntortillas - think ?street tacos? size), and I am totally sold on the carne asada, and al pastor (the house special). Can?t makeup your mind? Order the ?Torta Gorda? (pictured) for over 2lbs of meat of nearly every variety and the amazing house flavorsthis spot is known for, on an absolutely massive sandwich. I?m a big guy and a big eater, and this thing demolished me - in thebest way!! ???? Parking?s not the best, and the food won?t be ready in 2 minutes (they make it once you order it - so it?salways fresh and warm), but it?s absolutely worth it! Read more
