I?ve used Tasty layers for all of my special occasions. I just left the bakery to buy cupcakes, the woman came from the back... yelling at me telling me down have her go in and out of the case for your cupcakes. She was so rude, just a total turn off. Sodisappointed in the way I was treated, I didn?t even look up when she was speaking. I almost said I don?t want the cupcakes Ijust purchased. I will not return. Tasty Layers did an amazing job on our wedding cake August 6th, 2022 (Moist, Light, Very Pretty and Delicious). We had Red... Velvet with cream cheese frosting and French Vanilla with Butter Cream Frosting. I showed them 2 pictures and they fused the 2together to create our lovely cake. Hands down the best bakery. I had a cake made for my boyfriend. Never done this before. They took such good care of me. I gave... reference pictures of what I wanted and we discussed it together so no detail was missed. When I went to pick up my boyfriendscake I was in absolute AWE. The amount of detail my designer put into this cake you could tell it was made with absolute loveand care. I was so happy I literally cried. My bf absolutely loved his cake and was also amazed at how talented and creativethese cake designers are. They will have ALL my business. Read more
Their name is so misleading. Especially since they sell cupcakes. I realize they also sell cakes and that may be why they call... themselves tasty ?layers,? but the cupcakes are plain and boring. This is the third time I have ordered from them, hoping eachtime that I?ll figure out why other people give them higher ratings. I?m done. I guess I can live without their cupcakes. Thereis no filling. There are no layers. It is dry, boring cake with some frosting on top. If I just wanted frosting, I?d buy a jarat the store and eat it with a spoon. Their descriptions say that there is filling. The last time I got the cupcakes, Iliterally crushed every one of them looking for the filling. This time I pretty much expected it wouldn?t be there, and I wasright. I give up. I won?t be ordering from them again. They need to change their descriptions if they are not going to putfilling in their cupcakes. One time, I can assume it?s a mistake. Two times, I figured it was just bad luck. Thank you so much for a lovely and delicious cake! All flavors we asked for - almond, vanilla, and chocolate - made everyone?s... tastebuds happy. I needed desserts for a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend. Wanting to support a local small business, I googled and found... Tasty Layers and decided to give them a try. I began a conversation with them on Facebook messenger and got enough informationto call and give them my order. They were very patient while helping me decide, I had no idea what I wanted. I was able toreserve for the following weekend and pay over the phone. Pickup was easy. They are asking customers to wear a mask in thestore, not a problem for me, but will still allow unmasked customers to enter. I ordered several varieties of cupcakes,chocolate & caramel dipped pretzels, chocolate covered bacon, cake pops, chocolate covered strawberries, and chocolate dippedpeanut butter cookies. Everything was amazing. All the guests asked where I got the desserts. I was extremely happy with theturnout. I will be back anytime I need sweets. Read more
The cake and cupcakes were sooo good, We didn?t even get a taste. Had to hide cupcakes so we could eat them after it was over.... Absolutely beautiful wedding cake and cupcakes! Thank you for a wonderful job. Read more
