WOW! Not sure there is much more to say! We found this place on a referral-so happy we listened. We had the lasagne and a... salad. The homemade pasta is delish and worthy of trying. Next time we pass through Butte this is tops on our list. Read more

We showed up without a reservation but were "very lucky" to get a table even though there were several empty tops that remained... so during our stay. Our waitress... must have been her first day as her favorite phrase was " I don't know" when asked variousquestions about the menu - which we were never actually very clear on. I really wanted to have the spaghetti and meatballs(which would probably have been amazing and were on the drink menu we did get) but for some reason we were not allowed to onlyhave one of us get the 5 or 4 course meal that was on the unseen menu that night, which our waitress couldn't very well explain.Don't get me started on the Women's WWF playing on the tv, or Avril Lavigne pop playing loudly on the PA system. INTIMATE? Ithink not. Two stars because the wine and mashed potatoes were good and the overall experience was hilarious. The bread was...interesting. At least we got to spend $280 for the privilege. Save your money unless you like spending $128 for a small quantity of mediocre food. Rather than "fine dining", it should be... called "rip off dining". Only two red wines on the menu by the glass - both were horrible and retail at about $8 a bottle, buthere you pay $36 or $40. A salad and vegetarian entree was $34.99 plus an extra $4 for a vegetable. $39.99 for the four courseoption which includes a charcuterie board consisting of one piece of bread, some pesto, a couple of olives and some goat cheesewith jalapeno jelly. The salad arrived on a bread plate - one of the smallest I've ever seen - & included wilted greens, acouple of cherry tomatoes, a cucumber and some carrots - the exact same salad you would have at any diner like Shari's. Entreewas decent sized and just okay, overly salted. Despite expressing displeasure, the server was not willing to take any money offof the bill. Read more
