This is the best Authentic Mexican food I?ve had in a long time, maybe ever. I ate here everyday I was in town except for one... and that was because they aren?t open Mondays. Best tacos I?ve had anywhere in all my travels. Everything I had a chance to trywas fresh and delicious. Great service and great food, the staff really made this trip one to remember for me. Our family of four visited on a Sunday evening when many other local restaurants are closed. The only disappointing thing is... they say have dining in available. They have a very small area where you can eat on-site indoors. There are some tablesoutside. The food was terrific. We ordered the nachos and loaded fries. Both were tasty. For our main courses we had the 3tempura shrimp tacos, antipasto salad, the beef tongue tacos, and the steak tacos. Everyone enjoyed the well flavored food. Itcame out pretty quickly. This restaurant also has a split Italian and Mexican menu. It was a good experience, just be preparedto take out or eat outside. Really delicious tacos. Usually food in a tourist town is a letdown but this was a great surprise. Even ate the leftovers cold... on the beach the next day and it was still great. Not soggy at all as you might think it would be. Read more
Some of the best food in OBX for real. The fish tacos are some of the best I?ve ever had in my life and the flan was incredible.... Also really good pizza (coming from a New Yorker). Better than most sit down restaurants here for 1/4 the price. Read more
We've eaten here before but we've always gotten the pizza (which has always been top notch). But we got the encanada tacos and a... burger along with loaded fries. Everything was amazing! Giovanni's Restaurant and Lalo's Tacos share the same storefront. While the wait was over 30 minutes, the food was really good.... They took a lot of orders over the phone. We ordered the Pastor Torta, 3 tacos, and churros. I would have given it 5 stars ifnot for the long wait. Read more
I stumbled upon this place when looking for something open in the off season near the lighthouse. The food could not have been... better. I tried both a torta and some tacos and everything was delicious. Prices were fair and service was helpful and quick.Really excellent spot! Read more
