Wife and I stopped after a day at the beach. We had the fried clam bellies platter and fried scallops platter. Good size... portions, very good food! Only 4 stars because everything was a little too salty for our taste. Would definitely go back to eatagain! I might ask if they could go with less salt if possible. Read more

Walking from the house to the Herring Run along Bournedale Trails today and got a strong smell of fried seafood on the east... wind. Decided to break all HR protocol and called the new ?work from home? employee to see if she wanted to join me forlunch. First time ever and it?s right in the backyard! Good prices, shareable portions, and a delicious creamsicle shake. Prompt service and friendly staff. We went with foot long hotdog, clam strip roll with fries, and an order of onion rings. Nice patio with picknic tables and umbrellas. ???????????????? **Couple after us ordered the lobster rolls. They lookeddelicious. The lobster roll was BIG and well worth the price. It was only $26 with a ton of meat and not loaded with lettuce as filler. The... only thing I didn?t like was that there was a lot of claw meat. The claw meat was tough and took away from the lobster roll, butonce I ate the claw pieces first I got to enjoy the rest of my roll. The fried clams were really good too. There wasn?t anyocean-y flavors in the belly and the tartare sauce worked perfectly with it. Consistently good seafood with a great view. Not cheap, but it?s sort of a icon of the herring run area?something special, so... somehow totally worth it. Be careful pulling in and exiting - very dangerous. Go a bit early to skip long lines. ????-roll ismy favorite. Read more
The food was delicious and we all shared a nice variety of items from the menu. We loved that the onion rings container was... piled high because they were so good. The coleslaw was sweet. We loved the fried whole belly clams, scallops, and fish andchips. Read more
