Overrated barbecue place with average ribs and underwhelming briskets. After reading great review about this place, I recently... decided to give them a try. I got the two meat combo with the St.Louis ribs and the briskets, but the overall quality of thebarbecue was far below my expectations. Both the ribs and the briskets were dried up, and the briskets were especiallydisappointing. I?ve had much better briskets at college cafeterias, and even the Smoke Shop BBQ in Boston does a much betterjob. The sides were okay, but I probably wouldn?t recommend traveling all the way out here to try the supposedly one of the bestbbq in the state. Read more
Busy for a reason, unbelievably good BBQ. This is such a great place overall, from the creative daily specials to the service... which has gone above and beyond expectations each time. Everything is delicious, but the brisket bomb is probably the bestsandwich I have ever eaten. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant, just go and tip your cook! Read more
Great BBQ with great service. These guys were cranking out food quickly even with a large midday crowd, I was impressed. The... brisket was tender and fell apart perfectly. I highly recommend getting the brisket sandwich ?three way style?. All in our partyhad an excellent meal. Our server was amiable and handled our large party perfectly. Drinks are great here as well. This place is incredible. Friendly staff, clean, great decor. My Bloody Mary was freshly made and delicious. The food! My... Nashville hot chicken fried ribs (daily special) were fall off the bone tender. Sliced brisket had a beautiful smoke ring,pulled pork was not dry at all. We got a great dinner for four here - takeaway - the other night. My brother ordered it. A #1, perhaps? Pork, beef, wings. A... bunch of sides. More than enough, with a good pile of leftovers for another meal. The brisket was delicious. As was the pork.Sometimes pulled pork gets dry waiting to be served. Not so, here! Good job, folks! The Cajun wings were cooked just right.Juicy. I wasn?t a fan of the Cajun seasoning which overwhelmed a bit. No biggie. They nailed the ribs, as to be expected. Mac ncheese was adequate. Yummy beans. I?d take the rolls out of their shipping bag, but that?s just me. The whipped butters were apleasure. My brother makes and sells his own BBQ sauces; so respectfully, I didn?t sample the sauce that came with the meal. Wewill be back. Next time I wanna get some hush puppies! Read more
