This place has probably the best pool tables in the metro area always clean and available! and there is no smoking. They have... live music on the weekends and great great food. The burgers as well season and good buns for ppl that know the buns count! Thefries are hand cut with the right hardness. The red beans and rice???? get this one guaranteed a love. Great place to get a good meal with the family or if you want to have a drink with some friends! Great atmosphere and the staff... is even better!! They have karaoke every Thursday , live bands Friday and Saturday nights, ALSO PLENTY of pool tables (the BESTplace around to shoot some pool!) Even has a private room with a 9ft diamond table which can be rented by the hour or if youwould like to book the room for a private party you can do that as well. Good food and even better service! We went last weekend and I had the house special of hamburger steak with some home cut fries!... My husband had the steak and it was cooked perfectly! Ended it with our favorite dessert bread pudding! YUMMY! Our server abbywas spot on! We never had to ask for anything she already knew EXACTLY what we needed! We have visited 3 times this past month. The first two times were a hit. Good food and drinks. This 3rd time they had karaoke... night. They were very busy and there are only a few waitresses. My food was not good onion rings were cold and hard. My wingswere greasy and not flavorful like the other 2 times. Our waitress told us they were short on glasses thats why my husbandreceived a small plastic cup for his grapeful dead. Then two minutes later another gentleman ordered at the bar and was given aglass???? I wouldn't suggest going on a busy night. Photos are from 1st time visiting. Read more
Great Spot for Lunch!!! I had the pleasure of visiting the Dockery Grill while in Byram for business. I ended up there by... invite of two of my business colleagues and they were right on the money this was the place in the area for lunch. The lunch isserved in a buffet style, it does not have a huge selection but they have a great fresh selection of foods for lunch. Myselections were the deep-fried pork chop, fried chicken, hamburger steak with gravy and pickled cabbage. The food was fresh, hotand very good. Although I was only here for lunch, the place was busy enough to reflect that it is a local hot spot. I wouldlike to go back and try Dockery for dinner. The lunch was a great value for the money. Catfish, shrimp, and onion rings-superb! Pulled pork nachos could use some work. Service was outstanding.
