Service was fast and my spicy shrimp pizza tasted good, but a few hours later I had terrible stomach pains and couldn't eat... again for 24 hours. Of course I can't be 100% certain that my Newk's food was the cause, but I strongly suspect it was. Read more
I use to love this place...until one evening when I was about to enjoy my sandwich that they had made for me. My girls and I were on our way to visit family. We were hungry and I told them we'd stop in Byram. Of course they chose Newk's.... We dined in and ordered the delicious chicken salad and macaroni. Wonderful service. Thanks for a great outing with my girls.Everything was perfect. Read more
I always get the Newks Q with extra chicken and extra white BBQ sauce. The bread was a bit dry and the chicken seemed?well, dry... as well but that?s why I get extra BBQ sauce. All in all it?s pretty good for a quick bite. The sweet tea is my favorite! Read more
First time eating at this location. The food was good. The service was okay.
We typically LOVE eating at this location but yesterday we did have a bad experience. We called for an hour solid. No one... answered. We decided to drive there anyway to see if it was open. This was at 3:30 pm. It was open! I asked why no one answeredany calls for an hour. They had someone leave sick. There were plenty of people working?just no one that would answer phones.Lots of people just sitting around with nothing to do. Very very strange!!!! Ordered my usual. The sandwich came on wheatyesterday which I didn?t order. I asked why they put it on wheat & she didn?t know and didn?t offer to fix it. I ate most of it.Hated it. Too dry to shallow. We went to the restroom. When we came back, they had already cleaned our table and we didn?tfinish our food. My son was still working on his pizza and mac and cheese. They didn?t offer to fix another. It was a bad badexperience. Just don?t visit this location for like - A WHILE - until they can sort our all their weirdness. Always good food. The black and blue salad is my absolute favorite, and the strawberry cake is amazing. We do miss the condiment... bar that was eliminated during Covid. Read more
