This is a great restaurant. The owners work both the kitchen and front of the house. I have tried nearly every item on the menu... excluding the mole. Just not my thing. Love this place. An absolutely wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant that serves up the best homemade tamales, homemade... tortilla chips and salsa and guacamole I have ever had. And I have had some of the best. They exceeded all of the otherrestaurants I have been to. Excellent food, the best service, and prices are very reasonable. I will be back there time andtime again. This place is very good. I haven?t had anything I didn?t like. Salsa is good and I had to order some to go today. Only complaint... is how small the area is. We have had to go else where cause there was no room for us to sit at times. Read more
Had lunch here today! Started with chips n salsa. The chips were bland and white quaso was watery and strong garlic. The star of... the show and what made me to decide to review was a customer comes in JUST to buy a large salsa!! And they did so with goodreason. I have to put this at top 3 best Mexican pregame salsas all time. Yes it was that good. I also loved that I could anddid, order the chorizo version of their burrito!! I dont usually like to do this and I wont give only a 1 star, but this was one of the most unappealing meals Ive ever had. Id... like to give them another chance because I like to support local business but $13+ for this was not appealing. The steak wasvery chewy (it was kind of like Wal-Mart cube steak), very small, cold rice, old salad and very small portions (the least of myconcerns at that point). Again, Id like to try again as Ive heard some decent things about this place and would change my reviewif the next experience was better. Read more
I read all the reviews and walked in once to check out the menu & atmosphere. I had lunch here today. Pork (pastor) tacos... cooked with pineapple and topped with onion & cilantro with a side of rice & beans. The dinners also come with lettuces, pico degallo, guacamole and sour cream. The food was real good, most authentic in Cadillac and came out hot fresh and a lot faster thanexpected. Service was great. The place is small simple and clean.
