I've eaten food around the US, from coast to coast, this place, by far, was the worst food I've ever had. I believe the food in... our prison system would taste better. The waitress with the lip ring was so unfriendly, so uncaring about her job that I don'tknow why she even showed up, that in itself, made the experience even that more unappealing. Simple food instructions couldn'tbe followed, the order had to be fixed several times to the point we just gave up and eat what was there out of pure frustrationwith everything. If I could give negative stars this place would be a - 10. The owner should take an afternoon and talk with hisstaff, train them in hospitality, in food prep and overall attention to detail. Friday evening Plenty of very nice waitstaff. All cheerful and friendly. Made you feel comfortable. Premade margaritas... not do good. Ordered a shot of tequila to be added to second one. Would not order again. Only bourbon was Maker?s Mark $$. Food very good. Chips excellent. Salsa so so. Queso good but amount for 3$ iffy. Service was ok considering they were short staffed. The margaritas were nothing more than slushies, no alcohol in them. Order... two shots of tequila to add to the margaritas and got two half shots. Took our food to go since we had already waited over 45minutes in a not so busy environment. Bill was $65.83! Really????!!! Won?t be back. Got home and opened the food. Disgusting tosay the least! I ordered the shrimp tacos and it came with three soft shells spread across the bottom with filling on the top.Of corse shells were soggy and fillings were flavorless. Hubby ordered some sort of burrito and couldn?t eat his either as thesteak, chicken and mystery meat were tough with no flavor. Garbage is too nice a word to describe the food. Hot wings are always a must. Great service and such a great atmosphere in general. 2 for 1 margaritas are an all time favorite... not to mention it's 2 for 1!! Everything was hot and cooked to perfection. Read more
I went for lunchtime. It was eerily quite, which is unusual for this busy restaurant. There were only 3 other people at other... tables. I ordered the lunch special quesadilla with double beans no rice, with queso on top. Chips and salsa were great. Foodwas wrong but the waitress quickly corrected it and apologized. However they didn't replace the queso that they removed whenthey scraped the rice from plate to replace it with beans. But I didn't want to further trouble the kind waitress. I had a giant burrito and it was great. I thought it would be filling and heavy but somehow it was light and fluffy and so... flavorful. This place is attached to the hotel I?m at but I?m so glad I stopped there. Wow. I would highly recommend it toanyone who happens to be in this area. Terrible! Definitely not authentic Mexican food. I ordered the birria tacos. I asked the waiter where was the consume, he said... huh, you want red sauce. No, consume, the juice the meat is cooked in. The tacos should be dipped in consume and served on theside. He replied with we dont have that. What I got wasn?t birria tacos. The salsa was bland.
