I... can't recall when was the last time I've experienced such a prompt service in the restaurant in our province. Menu is simplewhich definitely sets the restaurant for ultimate success. This was our first time dining at the Canthooks restaurant. The experience was pretty fantastic! The service by the restaurant... owner, Iris, was fast, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere sitting outside on the mountain facing patio was gorgeous on asummer evening! For food we had the mussels, schnitzel with vegetables and salad and cordon bleu with spatzle and jaeger sauceas well as Black Forest cake. It was all super tasty and very well prepared. Husband and I had dinner there tonight for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised, the bratwurst and schnitzel dish were... delicious and the coconut cheese cake to die for. Good comfort food. GREAT SWISS DINING. We visited Canthooks during our short ski-vacation. Great wine menu, fantastic appetizers, main courses and... dessert. One minor drawback, the restaurant does not really have an European or Swiss atmosphere. However, the service fromIris, the owner, was very attentive and I loved the very tasty Mushroom Gnocchi. After reading some bad reviews i was skeptical. As I wanted to really treat my wife for her birthday. In the end we decided to... go regardless. First of all, just to make it crystal clear. I can?t agree with any of the bad reviews... We did have a problemthough, as we could not agree on which was better, the food, the service or the view! All three was spectacular!
