The Bakery here is amazing and they have a variety of pastries/cookies/cakes etc. to choose from, I tried the cannoli and it... tasted amazing. At the main restaurant I had the Muscle pasta ( forgot the exact name) but I enjoyed my muscles very much andthe pasta has a slight spice to it so don’t get if you’re intolerant to spicy foods. The atmosphere is great. The wait staff was awesome. However, food portions are extremely small for the price. Disappointed with... the chef that was on. Ordered Chicken Marsala and it was two small pieces of chicken. No pasta. I did however get a smallserving of literally cold vegetables. Also they served 3 out of four of us at the same time. While our other guest had to waitan additional 10 minutes for there dinner. Yes we all ordered at the same time. We ordered dessert. $8.50 for cheesecake. It wasnot a slice. It was a small cupcake, made of cheese cake. Food was ok at best, not great. I would not recommend, or go thereagain. Way too expensive for the service and food portions you get. Read more

The girls and I got together for dinner at 8pm. When I arrived I found parking in the large parking lot. The place is massive... with a restaurant, bar and bakery. They didn't have our table ready on time so we waited about 10 to 15 minutes. When we sat wewere served by Yarelys and she was very nice and attentive. They had drink specials for only the bar area which we visited afterdinner. While we waited for the food I walked over to the bakery and ordered a chocolate cupcake. Since I was eating at therestaurant they gave me a 20% discount. The cupcake was pretty tasty. For dinner I ordered was the gnocchi with pesto andsalmon. When the food came out it was piping hot and a big serving. I ate and it was very tasty, a little too creamy but tasty.The girls enjoyed all their meals as well. The bill wasn't too bad either. After dinner we walked over to the bar and enjoyedsome drinks and a DJ. It was good service from the bartenders and good specials. We had a good time. Read more
Awful.. customer service. My mother bought me an ice cream cake from calandras for my birthday party not knowing it was an ice... cream cake after one of the girls in the front didn’t specify that it was .my mother asked one of the ladies from the bakery“what’s in it” she specified what was in it and did not mentioned it was an ICE CREAM CAKE. My mom then proceeded to askif she may write down a happy birthday on top of the cake and she did and later the day my mom right away put it in the fridgefor later in the evening . When she went to open it she said it was flat and all melted and got very upset. The next day i thebirthday girl daughter , called the store and told them what had happened according to my mother, and the store manger Euger,said okay you can get a refund just come anytime before 9 and he sounded understanding over the phone …My mom went by herselfand not with me to calandras in west caldwell and according to my mother she said she doesn’t want to go back anymore becauseof how she was treated , it’s sad to see this happen because that’s my moms happy place and she would go every week with afriend or family and now she doesn’t feel comfortable because as she was returning the cake for the refund she said they madeher feel like she was stupid saying “it’s an ice cream cake of course it will melt” and would talk angrily to her (thestore manager Euger) not giving the refund through her card even though he said he would over the phone but instead a gift cardbecause supposedly my mothers card was “DECLINED” to receive the refund…. Hearing that made me upset and figured outcalandras is not a friendly environment like how i thought it was . My mom was going to even sit down for some coffee and bakerygoods after refunding it but she lost her appetite to stay in that restaurant anymore due to how she was being treated .
