We went to visit Dixie Orchards to enjoy the Sunflower tour and on our way back we wanted to stop by somewhere for tea and... snacks. This was nearby and as I wanted to try a local restaurant, i chose Mint Leaf. But after realizing it's a nice big placeand has lots of options, we decided to have dinner. The waitress was nice and polite, food was great and had a clean washroomtoo. Seemed to me their sweetmeats are very popular as there was a que all the time at the sweetmeats shop. Two things toimprove. First, When I asked what a 'Rara Chicken' is, the waitress told us she was a vegetarian and she did not know what itwas. It seemed a bit unusual to me. The staff of a restaurant should know what they are offering to satisfy the customers. Don'tget me wrong, she was a nice and warm person, but you need to be able to respond to your customers. Second, you cannot tip usingthe machine, it has to be cash. Who pays in cash these days? Overall the experience was nice. We tried the sweetmeats aftercoming home, and they were great. The Masala tea we tried was good too. The wrapping and packaging of sweetmeats are verynice. I recommend this restaurant if you are nearby. Read more

Ordered a $200 order one day before and they delivered it to my work at the largest UPS in Canada, the next day! They said they... would be here at 10, and they were there at 10! Last night, first time me and my boyfriend went there for dined in at mint leaf restaurant and the food was amazing and the... presentation was excellent.Chef devender made dishes with great innovation.We invited him to our table to thank him.His dishesshowed the passion he has for cooking .it is great to see our Indian cuisine going on another level .I highly recommend thisrestaurant.
