This is only the second time we've ordered from Las Mesas and while the food has been fine I found a shrimp mixed in with my... chicken quesadilla this evening. For most people this might be annoying but for someone with a shellfish allergy this ispotentially life threatening. Everything was good. Had the #14 (burrito and 2 tacos) and #16 (streak quesadilla, enchilada, chili relleno) lunch downfalls and... we ate every bit of it as well as extra chips and salsa. Prices were more than reasonable. The staff and management werefriendly, upbeat (so was the music), and helpful. We had a great experience and would gladly stop here again. Update: my friendwas so impressed with the bathroom that he kept bringing it back up and wanted me to include it in the review. The bathroomswere up to date and clean. I honestly eat Mexican at least once a week and I must say this place has some of the best salsa ever. Salsa is one of those... things that are hit or miss when it comes to Mexican restaurants, some have flavor and some taste like it?s straight up tomatopaste in a bowl. The salsa here was full of flavors that made you subconsciously dip your chip time after time. I had the TexasFajitas for one which were so flavorful and more than enough for two people, so you get what you pay for plus some. Therestaurant was clean and the service was good.
