You have to wait for a while for the food to be served *We waited for one hour but we understand as it’s worth the wait.... I’ve tried few different restaurants and this one is the best Ethiopian food in Calgary! The price is reasonable with a bigamount of food and super delicious! Highly recommend this place. Read more

I have never tasted something this interesting in my life. The bread had hints of sourness it in... and the lamb ribs were to... die for. It's crispy, juicy, and perfect in each bite. It is a lot of food, so I'd say order appropriately. The servcie couldhave been better but nonetheless I have enjoyed my experience. Read more

Authentic, delicious, top notch customer service and the ambiance is everything!!! Must have menu items are the spiced shai... (tea), Gura Tibs (bbq tasting meat w cheese crumble) and the vegetarian combination platter (Atikilt beyaynetu). Ask for popcornand incense to add some authenticity and ambiance. Only wish this place had AC or fans. It can be very hot and stifling in thesummer heat. Read more

It was our first time trying out Ethiopian food and won’t be the last! We had the veggie and meat sharing platter and if... you’re not used to the spice, be prepared. It has kick! We also had Ethiopian coffee which was a nice starter to things.Overall, it was a great time and would return again! Read more

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Calgary. The chacha tibs (lamb) with the rosemary and caramelized onions in there…... easily one of the best lamb experiences you could ask for. The post meal coffee ceremony is always fun, too. Read more

I decided to explore other cuisine especially African cuisine. This was a good experience. The food was tasty. My fav was the... vegetarian platter all the spices, flavour, colors you won't be disappointed that you didn't get meat. Platter in the pic is amixture of vegetarian and beef. For the ultimate experience you will be dining with your hands. Read more
