Saw this place while walking downtown and thought we’d try it out. I had the Chicken Parmesan. It was so tasteful and had just... the right amount of lime zest with every bite and it was just SO good! Portion size and prices were reasonable. Our waitress wasalso very friendly and welcoming. So me and my family went to Alumni sandwiches on The 28th and let me tell you. It was spectacular. One of the best sandwiches I... have had in a LONG time. I had the Roasted Turkey & Brie and it was to die for. My husband and step dad had the Dagwood. TheyLOVED it. I recommend this place if your looking for a great sandwich shop. The only thing that I would say was not up to parwas that the next day we went and go some more sandwiches but we ordered them online for pick up. They were very empty comparedto the sit in ones we had. So if you go, go and sit in! Much better than ordering curb side. Still a 10/10 sandwich. Read more

A breath of fresh air. This quirky little place serves quality drinks and food for a very good price. The drinks were well done... and their prices crush the competition. The fried mozzarella, the sandwiches and the apple pie were all amazing. The staff wasnice and the bartender was very tentative. I highly recommend this as a great hangout spot and date night spot that doesn’tbreak the bank but provides a fun experience and good quality. Read more
I had the hot chicken sandwich. Full spice. Great portion of protein. Very crunchy and flavorful. Fast prepared. Very friendly... staff. -1 star: Way too greasy as you can see on those pictures. The bottom bread is literally soaked in chili oil. -1 star:13 dollars for a pricey burger. I’m expecting a bit more than crunchy. Maybe adding a foil wrap like Popeyes. Coleslaw is notimpressive. Great sandwiches with good portion sizes! Add a retro diner feel with friendly, helpful staff, and you've got Alumni Sandwiches.... The menu is great value and if you want to call ahead, you can get curbside pickup of your meal. Definitely worth a visit. Also,happy hour is 3-6pm with cheap beer and cocktails ($4-5)... Enjoy!
