A very disappointing experience?.very very surprising, considering we have been extremely pleased with our previous experiences... with Apple Inn. We ordered $100 worth of food as we had friends over and were looking for some good Chinese food. I want to saythat there was a least one entrée I was pleased with?however, even the chicken fried rice was a bland, underwhelmingexperience, so, no. The fried (albeit free) vegetables were inedible. The sweet and sour pork tenderloin and sweet and sourspare ribs were identical in taste and looks. The free food given was not the chicken balls, deep fried shrimp or salt andpepper squid (65$ plus)? instead was the (inedible) fried vegetables. There were sauces on the side (plum, sweet n sour etc)that (normally should?) came with meal. I could go on, but this much should suffice. All in all, a very very disappointingexperience. Called this location for a "dinner for 3" pick-up order after recieving a menu in the mail. The gentleman who answered was very... nice and said our order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I was greeted by a polite woman behind the counter with a smile asshe mentioned they added an entrée for FREE! If we are craving western Chinese food, this is our go to place! The dishes are delicious, the service is fast, the staff and... friendly, and the portions are MASSIVE!
