Atlas Pizza is the best pie in Calgary, period. I can't think of any other restaurant that has been around forever and still has... the reputation and outstanding quality they bring to the table, the staff are awesome, some of which have been around fordecades! Their pizza is top tier. It?s really good. But the service is sooooo slow. I walk in and i have to walk to the bar to get... service even though the place isn?t busy. I ordered my pizza hours before hand and the skip the dish guys got it wayyy before idid. They definitely forgot my order and they kept doing the ?it will be ready in 10 minutes? many times (waited a total of 40minutes after the first time they told me 10 minutes). They gave me a couple of pops as ?compensation for my wait? but i willprobably not do take out over the website ever again. If you order take out use skip the dishes / (the online services). Ive heard wonderful things about Atlas over the last 5 years, finally made it here and it didn?t disappoint. Ordered a medium... pepperoni and ham asked for it extra baked. The cheese becomes a crisp layer and is absolutely amazing. Im not sure what theyput in their pizza sauce but damn it was like magical ???? unicorns! So good! Read more

Lots of. Booth seats, clean and organized. Atlas is famous for the pizza -one of my personal favorite local Pizzas. They also... have a full menu and applied. I?m not sure where to begin so let?s start with the good. The staff were friendly, the establishment was spacious with a good... layout and appeared very clean. They also stayed open right until their posted hours (2am) despite it being quite slow all night- which is very rare in Calgary! Now, the not so good? Both of the pool tables were in very rough shape. The rubber bumperswere coming apart on both tables preventing the balls from bouncing properly off of the cushions making bank shots impossible.They were also far from being level. Additionally, there was only 3 pool cues between the 2 tables and only one was worthplaying with. My friend and I were extremely hungry and asked for a menu. Our server strongly suggested we try the pizza so wewent along with her recommendation. We wanted thin crust but that was not an available option (quite strange for any businesswith the word ?pizza? in their name). When the pizza arrived, the crust had to be close to an inch thick! There was anabsolutely ridiculous amount of cheese resulting in a sloppy, greasy mess. The ?traditional? pizza sauce we opted for, tastedlike some sort of generic marinara sauce (not pizza sauce) straight out of a can. It was quite flavourless and didn?t seem likeit belonged on pizza. It weirdly tasted like there was cinnamon and possibly brown sugar in it??? Overall, it just seemed likethe unhealthiest version of pizza I have ever had. It makes sense why most of the 4 & 5 star reviewers on here all look to bemorbidly obese. I noticed the owner?s response to another review stating that Atlas has been around for 45 years so ?they mustbe doing something right?. Perhaps that?s true but McDonalds has been around for nearly 70 years and I would never eatthere. Unfortunately, I?ve been to Italy too many times to think that this - in any way - resembled pizza.
