Finally a place in Calgary to get some authentic Italian Pizza!!! Ever since I moved to Calgary, I?ve been craving some good... pizza, but all I could find is the ?gut bomb? pizza you can get from all these chain pizza places. I ordered their 12?Primavera and Marinara pizza?and I was not disappointed. You can tell that the ingredients and dough was fresh because it wasthe only place (other then pizzas in Italy) that didn?t make my stomach doesn?t feel you ate grease. If you want a pizza thatis authentic and has fresh ingredients, this place is for you. If you looking for that cheap North American style pizza thatyou need a fork and knife to eat and probably a defibrillator afterwards, this isn?t the place for you. Read more

My favorite pizza restaurant in Calgary. Finally found a restaurant that has thin crust and just enough toppings. (A lot of... places put to many toppings which makes it very heavy and greasy.) There's so much flavor and very fresh pizzas. The dessert(tiramassu) was amazing as well, not to sweet and very soft. They have a few tables (2-4 people) inside and a few tables onthere patio. Both inside and the patio has very good lighting making a great place for date night. Restaurant was very clean andservice was great as well, very fast and attentive and nice to talk to. THIS CRUST! Thin crust with the perfect chew! That alone is what should be driving you here. Super quaint, nestled in a quiet... neighbourhood, Azzurri feels like you are visiting family. A group of very talkative ladies, the Gent serving us was attentive,patient, and knew how to get into the conversation. The Tre Colore was super flavourful, the balsamic was fragrant and rich. We shared four pizzas, Margherita and Quattro 4Maggi being the top two. The tomato on the Margherita was fresh, bright, andslightly acidic, playing well with freshly picked basil. The Quattro 4Maggi and the drizzled honey is a perfect combination. Finishing with the homemade Tiramisu & Hazelnut gelato - we were all beyond satisfied. A must try if you want authentic pizzawith the charm of a family dinner. Read more

Stop looking, because there?s not a better pizza in Calgary. This authentic, Napoli style pizza coming out of that 900 degree... oven is incredible. I could eat at Azzurri every day. Love the food, love the staff. Takeout is good, but dining in and enjoyingthe pizza fresh out of the oven is an out of body experience. Read more
