Chicken felt too old and breading was too thick. Worried about getting sick after eating, but thankfully we didn?t get sick. We... tried bbq chicken from another location in Calgary and it wasn?t like this. Also, the Mala chicken wasn?t spicy compared to ourexpectations compared to other locations. Absolutely best fried chicken out there. When I first came here I was underwhelmed because the prices seemed a bit high but it... was well worth it. The value is extremely good, they?re regular fried chicken we cooked to perfection. The chicken burgers aremassive for 12$, compared to other fast food restaurants, bbq chicken puts them to shame. the fried chicken on rice is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I got it with soy garlic flavour. it's crispy... and juicy, bangin flavours, and the scrambled egg is wonderfully fluffy and soft. I got a salad (cause I figured the veggieswould balance out my meal) and the dressing is nice, too. 3.5 overall - coming in at night they were out of boneless chicken and a few other items. The customer service here is good/very... friendly. Did food take out and it took a while for it to come out (when I went). Not too sure the value of $20 for 8 pieces ofchicken but the largest pieces were the regular-ish size drumsticks. Lots of bones > than meat for the other pieces. Theflavouring and crisp is done right but as a Korean chain store vs price vs value..it's a tough cost to swallow. The food comeswith a small side of picked daikon. The location is fairly new and the interior is clean with a small but decent amount ofseating. There are a few other food choices outside of chicken. If you are willing to spend the money (one person can probablyfinish the 8 pieces easily), then it's worthwhile to come for the Korean style fried chicken. Read more
We bought Galbi Q chicken, Cheesling fries and Assorted cheeseballs. Their chicken are cooked perfectly and the sauce added the... taste!. Like my first time experience here. Unique and very delicious chicken. Had a friend tried this place before me and he left me... some chicken to try out at home. Honestly, it's on par with wow chicken. Crispy and delightful with every bite. I don't rememberwhat he ordered and I forgot to take a picture of it. I tried it out by myself today and just ordered the cheesly fries. Nowthis is the type of fries that everybody should get. Words can't explain how good that is. On the downside, service time forfood is a little slow than others and the space for dining in is compact. Make sure to avoid busy hours since YOU WILL NOT GET ATABLE. Parking is also an issue, centre street is known for parking problems. Overall, this restaurant has potential but lackssome space and cooking time. Other than that, this is an amazing place! Read more
