I stopped by and had the Meateor pizza on the bar side last Friday afternoon (delicious of course). I have to say, Emily, was... running that side on her own and she never stopped. I was impressed with how quick she moved around and took care of everyone. Afew regulars knew her as well, and I could tell she takes pride in her service. It did not go unnoticed by me. I understanding that they're probably having trouble finding good staff these days, but this location has gone way down in... quality. The wait staff aren't well trained, likely because the manager doesn't seem to care very much himself! Over the courseof a meal, for us a family of 4, the server was barely present. I had to chase her down for utensils and then take home boxes atthe end. The kids were offered dessert twice while they were still eating, and the bill was offered very quickly, but we theadults never once were offered another round of drinks or dessert. Then the kid's desserts were brought before the table hadbeen cleared of the meals. It was chaos and confusion! If this was a busy night, that's fine, but there were only five othertables with customers in the place, and plenty of staff. The food was great but the service was just really bad! You guys need to do better for cleanliness, service could be better too! Came here for my son's birthday. While seated and... waiting on meals, the table felt dirty and stick in some places. There were wipes along with our utensils so we took 2 wipes andgave the table a quick little wipe where it was sticky feeling and was quite grossed out so we kept wiping!!! This was a tablethat was already "sanitized" but clearly not clean! In the middle of the meal I went to the bathroom where I suddenly felt likeI transported into a dingy truck stop as it was really dirty and smelt like urine!! I was looking to be sure I didn't step intothe men's bathroom by accident and was looking for the urinal with the little puck! Needless to say, I didn't have much of anappetite after that! Service a was great at the start but once she got a couple more tables, we were pretty much forgottenabout. Had to get up and go to the front to get someone to bring us to go containers and get our waitess to bring us thebill. It's Boston Pizza, so the food is pretty consistent, but every now and then from this location I'm disappointed. To note, I only... ever get takeout. Cactus cut chips are a main go-to and there's been a handful of times I get home and they're burnt to thepoint you can't taste the spice and there's no flex. It's not like BP is cheap so it gets frustrating. The other day I was inthe neighbourhood and decided to pick up a dessert to take home. I asked for ice cream and was told it would be $3 for twoscoops. That's pretty expensive considering I could get a full tub of vanilla for that price, but whatever, I wanted it so Isaid yes. Got home, opened it up, and was very disappointed in what I got. Literally 90 ml. I took the locks l picture on myfood scale, I was so frustrated. It might be time I start ordering from a new location. The inconsistent return for what I payfor here is getting a bit to frustrating. Read more
