Ordered the “Steak Neptune” - Extremely overpriced and unimpressive flavours for such a minuscule amount of food. $18 for a... glass of vinegary red wine, served in a dirty glass. The best part of the whole experience was the cheesy garlic bread and ourserver. Ordered the (baklava flavoured) gelato which tasted nothing like baklava and it brings to question why they woulddecide on such a random flavour choice for their very European-North American menu. Overall, a disappointing experience. We were a group of eight celebrating a birthday. Was not allowed to bring in any outside... food or drink. I have never been denied that for a birthday cake, even at restaurants that cost $1000/person. There might be acake fee, but I have always been allowed to bring in a birthday cake. I get not bringing in your own drinks or something thatmight be on the menu. Six of us ordered steak medium-rare (different cuts) and the results were varied. Some peoples were rare,some medium-rare, and some medium. Not a good sign for a steak restaurant. None of the food or drinks was outstanding.Everything seemed very average, wine, cocktails, salads, steak, appetizers, etc. In order to help celebrate the birthdayoccasion they offered two desserts with a candle. The desserts were not very good. The only saving grace was our waiter,Constantine, who was fantastic. Will not be returning and will be looking for a better steak restaurant in Calgary. Read more

Wow! My business guests were VERY impressed. All of the staff we dealt with were excellent. ARNELL was our waiter and was very... attentive knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone’s food was superb! City staple, old school look and feel, with top notch service and food quality. The best part for me was the middle table we had... with view of the chef. How he kept straight which steak was for which table is beyond me. It was a perfect dance, constantly inand out of "stage" ;) and "backstage". Desserts are ok, not up to par to the service and steaks, but still giving them 5 stars(which I rarely do). Read more

Great steaks and services. The ambience is really "extra", making you feel like travelling in time to dine in the 70s. It got... surprisingly busy at lunch so better reserve ahead. The steak was delicious medium-rare, though I feel rare doneness would bringout more flavour and tenderness. The baked potatoes were amazing. Staff was very efficient and corteous. Read more

The inside is really nice and I love their lounge area. Good ambience and decor when it’s not super busy. The food was super... yummy and really good quality. Although I felt that their cheesecake was a tad too creamy for me. Overall great experience and Iwould definitely revisit in the future. Read more

This place looks much better inside! We live on 4 Ave, drive by everyday, first time here today. We were planning to go to the... Willow park location. Let’s be honest, this place looks unattractive from street view. It was actually really nice inside withhigh quality Roman style decor classic lounge style. Pan fried shrimps are perfectly cooked. Meat is really high quality andprofessionally done. The T bone is better than Hys in my opinion, but the New York Strip lost to Hys. Overall great food goodexperience.
