Through high recommendation by friends, I ordered takeout from Calgary Court Restaurant. Parking is difficult as there is only... street parking or paid parking lots nearby. The restaurant looked every bit like the chinese restaurants of my childhood. Icertainly feel at home upon entering. The dish I specifically desired was the Chow Ho Fun with Gravy which my friends claimedthat Calgary Court Restaurant does an excellent job at. I ordered by phone and only had to wait a few minutes upon arrivalbefore receiving my meal. I did request extra gravy which the chef complied (this doesn't always happen unfortunately at otherrestaurants). They separated the rice noodle from the gravy/sauce. On my first bite, I was happy to find that my friends wereright. The gravy was just right and the rice noodle had wok hei. The only odd part was the addition of red peppers which I havenever encountered before. The green was also bok choy which is a fair choice for the dish though not my favorite green for thedish. I will definitely order one of my favorite dishes here again. It is worth making the trek to Chinatown! Read more

Very good delicious and authentic food, really enjoyed my time there. Service was fairly good, I did wish the broths were a... little hotter though. There was a lack of acknowledgement at time in terms of service but no biggie honestly. They also got ourorder wrong for a dish and replaced it right away and again food was very tasty ???? Read more
Entering the place was like going into a Hong Kong restaurant. The milk tea was a great choice! It was enough to transport me... back to our travels. Not sure why we ordered fries. It was yummy but the ham and cheese toast was good by itself. The reason wewent was for the braised pork belly with fermented bean curd. It was to die for!!???? Highly recommend to try this place. Comfort food at it's best! Had an early New Year's Day lunch here with the family, and it was great. The Hong Kong style coffee... was a good a start, the crispy Chinese donut in a rice crepe was addicting. The Seafood noodle hot plate was amazing. Greatplace for a casual meal. Read more
