Hello, my name is Ellenath and I’m a steak addict. My weekly addiction was the Keg every week until I found Cattle Baron. Now... I have a new addiction. Amazing steak (cowboy steak and lamb chops are a MUST HAVE!!), yummy desserts (Apple galette wherehave you been my whole life??) and lovely staff. The restaurant at Royal Oak is new so it’s still quiet enough to have alovely dinner but as word gets around I have a feeling the quiet won’t last for long! Read more

Absolutely delicious! We had the best time here tonight!! We decided to take a chance and visit a new steakhouse and we were NOT... disappointed. The meat is very good, at least the rib eye I had but the side dish needs improvement. You can't put a few slices of sad tomato... and cucumber on a saggy leaf of lettuce or boiled broccoli beside a good meat. Baked potato was very much home cooked style. Forthe money we pay, I'd expect a complete dish with everything well prepared including veggies. I give 3 star for that. Read more

We used to go to the airport location when we really craved a good steak and so happy that this new location opened up in the... NW. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food. One time we were here our steak was undercooked (closer to rare-bluevs. medium rare) and the staff took care of fixing it and even re-plated it with sides again! The server and the maitre dechecked on the food shortly after to ensure everything was up to our expectations. For a steakhouse, the desserts here are alsoto die for! Read more

I have eaten at both the south and north location and I can not say enough great things about it. I have food allergies and... they were very accommodating. My steak was cooked to perfection and my server Emily at Royal oak location was excellent. Theatmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful. Will definately come back. Read more

Menu very similar to the Keg. The steak is amazing! We were happy to find a restaurant with such quality Canadian Grade AAA... beef. The mixed drinks were on the sweet side. Service was very good. Read more
