Absolutely disappointed. When I first came I wanted to try the stuffed grape vines, and the first time my family purchased from... there they were amazing. They were full, perfect taste and absolutely amazing. ONCE! Since then I wanted to support such abusiness and returned to purchase more a couple weeks later and the stuffed grape vines were just horrid. They were thin, smalllittle bits of nothing had maybe a 1/4 tsp of stuffing and rest all leaves. Basically I was eating just rolled up leaves. Theflavour of course then was dry and bland. Wonderful larger location with great staff and good food. One of the better shawarma places in calgary where the food doesnt... come out greasy, is flavourful and also in a large portion! Cost is approx 10-15$ for plates. There are a lot of topping andsauce choices here. They give half pitas with their plate. The baklava here was very well done and fresh as well. This restaurant has amazing food. I have ate here numerous times and have never been disappointed. My fave things are the... platters and samosas! Tonight I had the beef for the first time. I usually will steer away from beef from any other place andstick with chicken but my husband went and brought home the beef. It's actually super good. Perfectly shaven not too thick atall. And well seasoned but not overly. I took a picture but dont mind it I decided to write this review after I started eating.Anyways if you are ever in the northeast you must go here. The staff is mostly family and they are great people. Super friendlyand welcoming. Love this place!! Read more
