Just few vegetables and meat, the soup is wishy-washy, totally different from Japan and Taiwan.

100% instant powder for the spicy and chicken broth. The broth itself in general doesn't take bad. It's in fact decent - but no... one wants to pay 20$ for instant power mixed with water. Limited selection of sauces. No chili oil, no cilantro, no sesamesauce and much more missing. Veeeeery few choices of sauces. The meat is definitely not quality. It's chewy and portions aretiny. Golden buns were decent but not crispy and hot like most legitimate places. Upside is the service was fast and good. Read more

Good beef and broths. A quiet little restaurant. They give less vegetables now compared to before the pandemic but it's still... solid. I recommend the sukiyaki broth with udon noodles but the milk broth is a close second as well Read more

The real hidden gem of hotpot that I just found out recently. They have a lot of soup base options for you to try. Give it a try... for Tom Yum as I think it is the best one so far Great portion and worth the price (only $21++ for the large size) Free choiceof sauces and there are some good on-side dishes needed to be tried ???? Overall: 10/10 plus the great customer service. Read more

Centre Street Japanese Hotpot is an oriental restaurant where raw ingredients are put into a pot of boiling broth. For those... unfamiliar with hotpot. Hotpot is an oriental dish where the server brings you a pot of broth. The tables are equipped withindividual stoves. The servers will then bring a plate of raw ingredients. These ingredients consist of vegetables, noodles orrice, raw meat (beef / lamb). Once the pot at the table boils, individuals can begin putting in their raw ingredients. You don'thave to put all ingredients at once. Otherwise, many of ingredients will become overcooked. Once the ingredient is cooked asdesired. Take it out and enjoy! Paired with the food is a self serve sauce station. Where individuals can make their own dippingsauce. Centre Street Japanese Hotpot does not serve all you can eat. This restaurant serves individual portions. Portions caneither be regular or large. Individuals will order their broth, choice of meat and choice of noodles / rice. Afterwardseverything will be served as described previously. The broth is quite good and the ingredients are tasty. Each hotpot comeswith vegetables (lettuce/enoki mushrooms/others), shrimp, meat balls and a few other items. All ingredients will go into the potand become flavored with the broth. I definitely recommend a dipping sauce as it gives all the food more flavor. The portion isdecent, but could use a little more meat. The service is quick. So you won't be waiting too long for your food. The restaurantfrom the outside may seem small, but the inside is more spacious. The location can make parking a little difficult. There is asmall parking lot, but is usually full. The price is reasonable, it is about average for a hotpot restaurant. I highlyrecommend trying Centre Street Japanese Hotpot. This is a great place to try hotpot for the first time or the 100th time. As itisn't all you can eat, people new to hotpot can enjoy it without spending too much. Read more
